hiiii! what's the deal with the world outside the city? is it inhospitable wilderness, a barren wasteland? is there any kinda natural space/plantlife, like in magatama and possibly eden? also my tropical ass wants to know if there's a beach; man-made?

hey there ! outside of the city is mostly inhospitable– if you want any sort of real life, living in the megacities owned and created by irene is the absolute best bet. irene controls most of the european and african world and in the early days of rebuilding, people flocked to the cities that irene built. irene had the influence in government shares and power to fast track infrastructure. not to mention, fresh food and water is now a commodity that irene owns. more information on the timeline and environment will come in time for clarification ! ˉ̞̭(′͈∨‵͈♡)˄̻ ̊

hiii! could i have my name on the reserve page corrected from "arie" to "aria"? also idk if it's been asked but what's the difference between a tracker an an ai? do ai have bodies? thaaanks <3

correction made ! 

trackers and ais are different in functionality and capabilities– ai tend to be repurposed with much older technical capabilities, as the ones that were mass-produced come from oft defunct companies. reason being, ais were more cost than they were worth. nowadays, you’ll typically find ai secondhand in the underground alone, their sentience coding mostly open-sourced. any ‘new’ ai are custom made by specific people and the costs are staggering. one of the reasons why the rich don’t tend to bother is the upfront costs would in the end create no benefit to them, as ai have very similar capabilities to humans, only with the added need of maintenance.

secondhand models, on the other hand, are not widely expensive. they are, however, almost entirely unregulated and many models have been repurposed several times, making their hardware even more outdated. 

all ais were, at one point or another in their existence, registered into a database and have a barcode on either their wrists or the backs of their necks. a lot of the information is dated since the underground trading is usually off-the-books, and what information is had is dated to their original sales date from the now-defunct companies.

well i wanna know about EVERYONE, but if i had to choose, i'd choose the drusilla, the spike, the cordelia, the xander, the faith, and the fred. obviously i couldn't play all of them, assuming canon relationships will stay a thing? i'm just v curious! how're all three slayers gonna work at the same time btw? (if i had to cut my canons down to three to learn more about, it'd be the drusilla, the cordelia, and the xander. if this is too much.) thank you!

Hey hey! The canon relationships are going to be somewhat the same; obviously we’re going to leave room for interpretation and for people to do what they feel should have happened (cough gunn/wes/fred should’ve been an OT3 cough), etc. etc. Be on the lookout for canon previews for all the characters you mentioned because why not~ It’s gonna be something of a mess with three slayers, though luckily, at least one of  them isn’t in Sunnyside.

hiii! i forgot to ask: how similar to the buffy canons will the characters be? like will there be a lot of room for interpretation because this is "sunnyside" and not "sunnydale"? also how old will characters like the scoobies start out as? i'm assuming 18 to early 20s because like, gigi's v young, holland/dylan are famous for a high school show, etc. or high school age is the site isn't 18+ as far as that?

Hey hey! They’re going to be a bit similar; we’re basing the canons off of them but we want people to make these characters their own! As for ages, we’re starting the Scoobies (barring The Giles, The Joyce, etc.) out at around 19, 20, maybe 21 for some here and there. The board is 18+ (not premium, at least not yet, but given that we’re going to be giving a lot of freedom for mature content we’d rather our members be 18 or over), but we will allow characters as young as 16 years old. (Bear in mind, though, that we won’t accept faces under the age of 18.) I hope this helps! ♥ Daphne
