But it held weight for Calvin. It's why he was slow to leave even after finishing up. Gave himself a little time to hope for an answer, and then clambered his way out of the temple by a broken portion rather than the actual entrance. Looking...

Okay yeah he looked suspicious as hell, especially when he was trying to clean the blood off of his hand where he'd decided 'hey divine blood works as an offering, right?'. "You'd think healing faster would be part of this shit..." A comment grumbled under his breath.

"This really doesn't feel like it counts as breakfast." It's about all the warning Gabriel offers, before holding out exactly what Simon had told him was his preferred breakfast in one hand. It's clumsy, clearly unversed in the fine arts of sundaes. The waffles were definitely burned at the edges, and it's not a sundae glass but one of the bowls. But he'd tried, and he liked to think that would count for something.

"The sausages are still cooking, so you're gonna need to take a seat if you want your handful of them. Preferably quickly, because if they burn it's on you. The waffles were all me." Gabriel's not sure if it's intended as an apology, for failing to protect the son of the moon, or a thank you for at least helping him stand firm against an assault by removing the warriors weapon, or just Gabriel being Gabriel. He just...

Needed to make the sentiment was displayed that Simon mattered enough to remember something like his breakfast order, and appreciated by the chosen of Hestia even in the wild turmoil of it.

camp  had  been  invaded  a  few  days  ago. 

  at  least  silas  thought  it  was  a  few  days.  he  hadn't  exactly  kept  track  of  time  -  hadn't  really  bothered  appreciating  days  passing  as  a  blessing  rather  than  a  drag.  after  both  jay  &  harley  came  over  to  pratically  kick  him  out  of  his  own  cabin,  he's  grabbed  his  axe  &  headed  for  the  training  grounds.  where  else  would  he  go? 

  but  it  ...  didn't  feel  right.  he'd  much  rather  be  in  the  kratos  gym  right  now,  his  mind  in  too  much  turmoil  to  focus  on  anything  of  importance  ..really.  so  he'd  found  himself  a  quiet  corner,  a  bench  &  thankfully  shade  to  spend  the  next  few  hours  at  -  observing  those  who  trained  ...  closely.  one  may  say  with  disdain,  but  silas  would  deny  that.  all  the  while  chomping  down  on  self-made  banana  bread  with  chocolate  sprinkles.  chocolate  on  silas'  food  only  emphasized  how  dire  the  situation  was,  but  ...down  it  went.  bite  after  bite,  his  eyes  on  those  around  him.  maybe  thor's  son  almost  killing  him  had  had  a  bigger  influence  on  him  than  he  let  on...

"Is what necessary?" sethan asked. his lips pulled up into a fake innocent smile. the boy tilting his head in the other man's direction. "I simply was checking to make sure that my spell didn't accidentally nick you." sethan lied with a nod of his head, pulling his face back with a little bit of a blush. "see...all fine, it looks like." sethan said with a chuckle.
