hold her in your arms like you never have before, squeezing her until she can’t breathe. whisper secrets in her ear, something she’s never heard you ever say. grab her hand and never let go, hold onto it through the night. tell her something to make her laugh, then capture her smile in your mind. look closely in her eyes, her ocean eyes that never fail to hypnotize you. wake her up when she has a bad dream, remind her why you’re here. then tell her she’s beautiful, even when she’s drunk; half-past 1:00. stroke her hands inside of yours, provide her a safe comfort And then, do it all over again
