SSNACKSS @ Hilliard’s Beer
They had technical difficulties they couldn’t control. We only heard the vocals about 5% of the time. Either way they pulled it off. Confusion and dreamy guitars made up for a lack of vocals. I love confusion and dreaminess.

Do you get lazy in the rain? Do you like Rock Docs? Do you like bat shit crazy drummers?
Well it is going to rain this weekend in Seattle, so watch Beware of MR. Baker this weekend. A great documentary on Ginger Baker, the drummer of Cream. I watched it a couple weeks ago on Netflix’s and it was a great watch whether you are a drummer or not.
Let me know your thoughts!
My Friend Aaron had an Epic Dream...
That included me. I hope this comes true (minus having a barn). So I went to your house to do Laundry. Very nice of you and no idea why I had to do it at your house. So this middle part doesn’t have you in it as dreams are odd. I woke on the sofa and I was next to Dave Grohl and William Goldsmith. William was first drummer for Foo fighters and Sunny day real estate. The way I acted was I kind of knew them so it was not a super big deal, but semi was. I needed the key to the practice space and Dave had it. I was like just come with me and open it up and we can jam. William was all about jamming and Dave was like ok, but only for a few hours. Mike McCready (pearl jam) was at the kitchen table as this point and said he was down as well. Then I remember thinking dam, this means I have to play bass guitar but I will get over it. Then I looked at you and said it is insane the talent you have in our house right now and you mouthed “I Know” So we walked out the front door and I was like ugh my laundry, so I ran back inside and you and Mark were at the kitchen table. I said I am sorry do you mind if I come by tomorrow and grab my laundry and finish. Marc looked at me and said “I don’t know man, you did this to us last week.” And you looked down at the table. I was like oh, well, um Okay I will grab it now. Then he said “What about the drum?” And apparently Imaginary Amie (Three imaginary girls) Took a little drum off one of your shelves and played it for like 4 minutes or something and Marc was angry about that. It was a family drum or something. I was like “Okay, so.. I have like $3.00 I can give you” and walked out to the BARN (Barn?) to get my laundry and thinking “God he is trying not to get me to play with these people” Then I woke up. So make me a promise if I ever need to do laundry at your house and musicians show up I get a free pass to rock with them.
Nervosas @ The Victory Lounge. (Seattle Wa)
I got a text yesterday from a guy I have not seen in about 17 years. We went to the same School in Columbus Ohio. His band was swinging through town, so I had to make it to the show. I thought i got close enough to the stage, but once the music started i had two layers of people in front of me. No, really i was like 14" away from them right before they went on and a small crowd came out of nowhere. So I kind of had to fight for a few shots of them playing. Most of them were of a band member and someone in front of me's hair. A lot of beers were spilled last night during their set and everyone loved it.
For the Punk, hardcore kids this is a band you have to check out. Was great seeing you Nick.

Stream Cataldo’s new album.
It is crazy nice out. So while you are wishing you were outside and not stuck in the office why don’t you Stream Cataldo’s new album. The release date is right around the corner on 03/04/2014. And since it is so nice out you will want to head out tonight on the town. Why not check them out at the Tractor tonight for a reasonable price of $10.00.
Song of the week.
This song has been in my head since I watch the Timber Festival preview yesterday. I love the sound of this band. It takes me back to the early 90’s but not in a trying to be early 90’s way. Their sound reminds me of old grainy film footage shot on a pier at sunset during the summer. Yes, I am a visual person.
As you may know the Afghan Whigs are one of the most amazing band on the planet. I can also say besides Prince they put on the best live shows. Straight forward rock and roll for sexy people.
They are out with a new video and a new album to come out in April. They will also be playing the Showbox Market 04/15/2014. You should be there. All those who stay home this night are total Squares. Pre sale tickets on sale today with general public tickets on sale 02/21
