Absolute Ben 10, a fan comic by DANBOYWONDER and DUCKZART is in the works, the first chapter is already out on webtoon

Synopsis - "After losing Grandpa Max, 15 Year-old Ben Tennyson is struggling to reconnect with the world. Concerned for Him, Gwen invites him on a family camping trip to lift his Spirits. There, he discovers a mysterious device that bonds to his wrist. Burdened by grief and the Responsibility of the Omnitrix, Ben must learn to control Its power, as those who seek it will not wait."

This doesn't take place in the Absolute Universe, it mainly uses the idea of changing something about a character, taking away something from them, the writer danboywonder, takes away Grandpa Max, as he was the biggest influence on Ben and shaped him into the hero he is, the first chapter sets the groundwork but who knows what the rest of the story will be, imo it's going to be peak

I've been on a bit of a Ben 10 craze ever since I read the new comic (pls read it if youre a fan, its super promising) and so i rewatched some episodes of Classic, specifically the Kevin episode, and man, i REALLY hope they do more with Kevin's ability to take on aspects from the aliens because I genuinely think that's the coolest his powers ever been. Him turning into a six armed half Tetramand thing is SO cool and freaky, and especially with the new comics (seemingly) more mature direction, they could really do some cool stuff with it.

And if the official comic wont do it, I hope that awesome Absolute Ben 10 comic will, especially since that has a seemingly very different Playlist from the original show, which could mean completely new original half-alien forms for Kevin

I was inspired upon reading the various Absolute comics in DC and recently DanBoyWonder's videos on his idea of an Absolute Ben story. It has me thinking of various other TV series and thinking about what an alternate retelling of that story would look like. And the main one that majorly comes to mind the most is Danny Phantom. The main idea that I have for a different version of that story takes place in more anime-style world in which Danny is an exorcist who fights various spirits to deliver them to peace, whether that peace is brought about pleasantly or hostile will depend on the situation. I have more details to add to the story, so what has been presented so far is more of a rough draft so far.
