i finally unsubscribed from the try guys the other day because i got particularly angry seeing them use ai thumbnails and realised i have been slowly unable to tolerate them after how they treated watcher. like either be public about what happened or don’t but making snarky comments on them saying “we knew how to do it right because we saw :) how it could go wrong :)” and removing shane’s phoning it in episode from a compilation :/ like i said previously it really looks like they threw their friends under the bus while they were being destroyed by the internet, just to make their streamer come out on top.

like “haha look at us funny relatable guys who are more honest about things” when they have been out of touch for fucking years, making videos about being able to skip the queue in disney because of their internet clout. imagine saving up to go to disney and some fucking annoying little cunt skips ahead of you because he films youtube videos. and people still love them as if the entitlement isn’t exactly what people apparently dropped watcher for.

idk if we will ever find out what exactly happened and i am saddened by it all because they ‘escaped buzzfeed’ together and there are shows i wanted to see each of them collab on but what can ya do.

the watcher guys deserve so much better and i’m glad some other creators look out for them, like rhett and link, and don’t let petty drama ruin a company that loves what they do.
