John has the fastest switch up from “I’m an asshole and better than all of you” to “genuine kind and loyal friend”.
One day he’s handing out gag gifts and his own autograph, the next he gave Bob a audio recorder he looked for during a 2 month span, because Bob mentioned wanting to get his thoughts out and that the tower is lonely without them, and John had to get it from an antique store because Bob likes when the buttons click and are analog and John had to fix parts of it with YouTube tutorials and he added a blue strap so Bob can carry it and also his favorite color is blue.
