The sun rose over Caer Bronach in splashes of fire and crimson, the soldiers keeping watch in the night yawning and stamping their feet to keep warm and awake until their relief arrived. Very little moved within. A soldier carted cords of firewood to the handful of pits in the courtyard, stoking the flames up to prepare for another day. A gentle cacophony of birdsong seeped into the awareness of the few wakeful persons from the surrounding forest, and, in the far distance... the faint roar of a dragon.
A black speck moved through the still-darkened western landscape, perceived by few as it soared on silent wings. Behind it, the imposing Frostback Mountains loomed past the haze of Redcliffe, the dark expanse of Lake Calenhad, and the even more distant distant foothills; a frozen horde always advancing, never arriving. Both friend and foe.
The bird, a dark and glossy thing with a single patch of white feather over his breast, alighted next to a soldier on the battlements, scaring him half to death. It held its leg up to show the message it carried, but nipped at the soldier's fingers when he tried to remove it.
"It's fine, serrah," Charter murmured into the early morning air, "I'll take care of him."

I, like the degenerate I am, paid $4 to send a message to Neil Newbon (Astarion's voice actor) on Cameo. I told him how I loved his performance as Astarion, and was super thankful for the work he put in. I even mentioned how I've fallen in love with Astarion. I would say my message was innocent but very wholesome and sweet. Just a fan telling someone how well they did
I was NOT expecting A) how quick of a response I got and B) THE ACTUAL response I got

Like I really liked this show but it’s like they scrapped everything that made it special in favor of a reset to a status quo of “decepticons bad becsuse they bad” that never existed in this snow to begin with combined with “collect macguffin shards” with the same vaguely concussed energy of the average episode of Inuyasha filler. Add multiple, bizarre and unasked for helpings of intensely boring and unforgivably lazy new characters (and more cast was the LAST thing this project needed) and the insult of sidelining the good characters who already needed more attention…holy shiiiiiit
Like. Again. Super soft sport for earthspark season 1. I still had reasonable transformers expectations for tf media. But man how do you drop every single ball so hard I want to know what the fuck happened on the back end this is a *disaster*

i say with complete sincerity that kate & anthony from bridgerton will always have my heart, they are one of the few fictional couples who make me see why romance has people in such a chokehold but dammit….where are the michael & francesca fics? 😭
