Warm sunlight was what stirred Nix from her rest, which was odd considering she didn’t recall falling asleep. The silverette sat up and rubbed her head, feeling a little dizzy at first. Did she pass out and hit her head? Quite likely all things considered. Although that theory was pushed aside when the woman took in her surroundings.. Lush green hills, oddly shaped trees and flowers, and a very unfamiliar town nearby. Everything about this land screamed unusual but in this particular case, she was the unusual one. That became apparent when she started down the dirt road to take a look around. 

Little mushroom-like people were walking around with bright smiles on their faces. Some were red and some were pink, they were all adorable to be perfectly honest. Though this all should be impossible, she never heard of a place like this. Perhaps Nix finally lost her mind? No, this was much too extravagant to be a mere hallucination.. “Where am I..?” One of the little people, who called himself Toad, was more than happy to inform her that she was in a place called the Mushroom Kingdom. They even had a princess in the large castle beside a large lake. So perhaps going there would provide more answers, it was her only lead thus far.. ‘I hope there’s a way to go back or at least an explanation on how I got here.’
