experiment: antique papyrus, 23.5 K Gold keaf, Roetel (red bole) black iron oxide and titanium white ink first step of experimental painting The antique papyrus is made by leaving the papyrus stripes in water for a few days, until fermentation starts (smells a bit rotten). No chemicals added. A brown color is the result. Looks almost like wood.
