New Moon Abundance Spell Jar
👁🌙🍁 To re-align your shit with seasonal depression and big life changes ⚖️💰📿
I started the jar with the intention of simply financial abundance, having just moved and started a new job, while in the midst of a tattoo apprenticeship, with the intention of moving again in six months or so and quitting said job to be a full tattoo artist. But then I was like, ‘Stella that’s a lot of shit to put on a single abundance jar’ and shrugged and did it anyways.
You can put in your own things of significance, it’s recommended to use bay leaves for financial abundance but I didn’t have any so I used pressed leaves instead and green candle wax. This jar is to help with general stability as seasonal depression starts to set in. Money doesn’t fix all your problems, but shit does it help most of them. Ther cleansing objects to keep the right energy in your circle during this yucky time (I mean we all love fall, but wanting to stay in bed all day really messes with the whole aesthetic).
Get you some:
A random jar with significance or aesthetic value
Smudge stick (I used thin-cut Palo Santo because that’s what smelled the best to me). Lit with the intention of not getting rained on, and re-lit with the intention of staying on fire.
Black Salt to repel negative vibes and toxic bitches
Jezebel Root, good for making wishes and getting bitches, mainly for money and achievement. Get that promo at work, get a tiny raise, have someone finally pay you a small debt. (You can charm it to get bitches too if you want, I’m fresh out of the need for companionship in my life though).
Quartz for cleansing, duh.
Black tourmaline for cleansing and protection. Once you get the bad vibes you, you gotta keep your good vibes to yourself.
Match sticks, because we’re aiming for aesthetic. ( ‘at the first strike, I ask for finances to flow. At the second match I ask for positive energy in a difficult season. At the strike of three, so mote it be.’ )
Green candle wax (OR CANDLE WAX YOU THOUGHT WOULDBE GREEN BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A LIAR)
OPTIONAL: pressed flowers because I am a hoarder. I’ve got a peony blossom because I love peonies, some leaves because they look neat, and a very old purple birds of paradise flower I saved from the Denver Botanical Gardens (DONT TELL).
