productivity
i may have over-slept but i have got bang on it today :D
i finished my proposal
Edinburgh emailed and said they will have the info by next week
i asked the royal agricultural college if they would let me use my research as my final project
they said yes (and said they looked forward to seeing me at interview-cant be a bad sign!)
my references came back today
i sent off my ucas application
now just have to fit in that bit of info to my proposal and submit it to Edinburgh and the ABWAK council for approval/possible funding.And wait to hear back from everyone.
Not bad for a days work if i do say so myself *toots own trumpet* ^_^
day one of 2012
I started the year by doing something i have never done before, i learned and practiced how to restrain a cow by sticking my fingers up it's nose.
it was a good feeling to do something new, not that he felt it was a just way to start the year. but he'll forget, hes a cow. not too bright are cows.
also had a meeting with the manager about my Binturong idea, and have been given full support from the zoo.
so i got home from work last night and started my proposal for the project in Edinburgh which is going well so far.Though I am having trouble finding out which subspecies we have and they have,and that may prove difficult. but for now i am fully preparing my methodology and stating why i am proposing the study.
so heres my super organized list of what i need to do:
get info on the two housed at Edinburgh Zoo from RZSS....sent an email today.
finish the proposal write up....started yesterday/today.
find accommodation
find out how much the trip will cost
make proposal for ABWAK
do a sponsored 'something' to raise some funds for the project
