 ✕ … always wanted to be a politician, though she never dreamed of being queen. as a child, she thought she'd spend her days helping refugee's build big structures that would eventually become their home. she doesn't regret the path in life she's taken; she managed to make sure that steps were in place for every person who wishes to call naboo home in her queenship.

so hey, it’s mona back at it again with the characters that have themes of absolute self-sacrifice.

first things first, paige does remember everything up to boarding the cobalt hammer on that last bombing run against the dreadnaught. she knows who she is - a resistance member, a pilot, an accomplished gunner, a big sister, and a refugee of hays minor. she doesn’t remember her death, but she’s not an idiot and checked her own resistance records the second she could get access.

again, she’s a pilot and a gunner, especially the latter.  by now she’s survived on enough missions with enough pilots that she’s adopted some of their superstitions and mannerisms. there is a confidence to her, something that isn’t quite ego but is definitely a kind of surety.

incredibly protective and loyal. imagine an Ideal Resistance Member™ and a little hologram of paige tico would appear. fully believes in dying for the cause, obviously, as she did it once already.

hates the first order conceptually,  yes, and hates the upper management (guys like kylo ren, hux, phasma, etc., basically) more than she hates the soldiers and the pilots. she figures all the little guys, the ground troops and the nobodies, are just as scared as anyone else in terms of the fight.  it’s the guys calling the shots who know what they’re fighting for and believe in it who are the real evil here.

loves falthiers. will be jokingly mad when rose shows up having seen one on canto bight.

will treat all the big heroes of the resistance like people first, thanks, because that’s what they are, and she’s seen what happens when you think only a few people can save you and you don’t try to save yourself 

what happens is called ‘your home planet gets stripped for precious ore despite all your so-called heroes, and the weapons that use said ore are tested on your planet’.

carries a blaster at all times, thanks, because you can’t be too careful out here. armed and absolutely unafraid to get in a shootout.

idealistic and stubborn and a little bit angry too. also: not force-sensitive in the slightest because, honestly, who needs that when you’ve got conviction and heart.

so this is luke skywalker, last jedi, star pilot, farm boy, and living proof that it’s a good idea to have wisdom and intelligence as two separate stats in dnd. his entire personality can be boiled down to that bit in the new john mulaney special where he goes “i like to be a little optimistic, but i will admit, things are getting pretty sticky.”

and i’m mona! college student, writer, haven’t done any writing as luke on tumblr but i’ve done it privately with a lot of friends, so needless to say i’m a little nervous about all this but am going to try my best.

he was brought back at thirty, so obviously he got through the original trilogy. he’s an experienced jedi, whatever that means at that point, and was also carrying the Weight Of An Entire Galaxy’s Faith on his shoulders at thirty.

this means he doesn’t remember the whole thing with ben solo at the temple. he knows ben solo as a sulky kid that he used to make laugh with force tricks.

so, uh, when he finds out, it’s going to go poorly.

evidently not as cynical as in tlj nor as optimistic as in the orignial trilogy. there is a part of him that is constantly exasperated (or was, rather) with republic politics after the war, but he’s definitely not post-temple luke. he still believes in the cause, whether we define that as the rebellion/resistance or the jedi.

he’s gotten less impulsive over time, and is closer to the traditional viewpoint of a jedi master. but there are certain things that will still set him off.

PLEASE NOTE: i’m still reading up on all the stuff for the eu (there is so, so much) so if you are interested in a specific minor in that canon fitting into my canon... link it to me. i know a lot of the broad strokes (mara jade, the various kids from both the solos and skywalkers, etc.) but really specific events might need to include a wiki link.

he’s very exasperated about the whole ‘defeating the empire was worthless, because here’s the empire 2.0 now calling itself the first order’ thing.

Hi guys! I’m Sloane and glad I finally found a star wars group. I’ve been role playing forever but never on tumblr, so please be patient, I’m figuring everything out as I go. Anyways, I’m sure everyone knows most of this, but let me introduce my son...

born in 2 ABY to kes dameron and shara bey in the middle of the war against the empire, poe was left on yavin 4 to be raised by his grandparents for the first two years of his life while his parents saw to make sure the empire was defeated. when his parents returned home, poe grew close to his mom while they lived on the new ranch his parents had built.

he was first 'taught' to fly by his mom when he was a kid, but after her death when poe was eight he began taking up lessons with his adoptive uncle l'ulo, a former rebellion pilot who had served with his mom. even so, after his mom's death poe became somewhat closed off, and hid his feelings, especially considering the grief his dad was in.

he joined the new republic flight academy as soon as he was of age, graduating near the top of his class and subsequently being recruited into the new republic defense fleet. there he rose to gain the rank of commander to rapier squadron. all was well until poe was faced with the rising power of the first order head on- and the fact that the new republic was choosing to ignore the threat. in a raid against the yissira zyde, poe lost one of his pilots, and closest friend to the first order, which became a major influence for him to defect to the resistance.

he was approached by leia organa after the crisis to join the resistance, keeping his rank and being given command over the two squadrons at the resistance's disposal. he held some ties with the new republic for awhile, allowing poe to keep his allegiance with the resistance secret for some time from the first order. however upon the time he actually defected, with the belief that the new republic no longer had their citizens best interest in mind, he stole his ship and relocated to the d'qar base with two other members of rapier squadron.

fast forward to after starkiller and crait- poe hasn't really rested since those two fights. he still faces residual nightmares and low end panic attacks from the torture he underwent at the hands of kylo ren, and holds an enormous amount of grief from the loss they experienced fighting the dreadnaught. the number of deaths caused by his recklessness continue to bother him to this day.however, after the resistance was able to recover to some degree, he was reinstated as commander, despite the fact that poe didn't think he should be. he had disobeyed direct orders, started a mutiny, and all around deserved to be kicked out.

anyways, since then, poe's helped train new recruits that have joined, and was stationed at the new main base on coruscant to continue training the fleet. since the forcefield went up, however, his own jobs have been more focused on collecting information and rebuilding the scrapyards of ships given to them. as for the resurrections? he's glad to see former friends, pilots, mentors, and others again, but he only really manages to feel more guilty about his actions as more of the people lost because of him are revived.

Boba Fett was “born” in 31 BBY. Created by the cloners on Kamino and was physically identical to the clone troopers created for the Grand Army of the Republic, though Boba was unaltered and did not grow at the same accelerated rate as the other clones. Raised as Jango's son, Boba learned the combat skills necessary to one day become a bounty hunter in his own right.

Jango was killed during the Battle of Geonosis, which sparked the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The young boy swore vengeance against Jedi Master Mace Windu, who killed Jango, and teamed with a group of bounty hunters that included Aurra Sing and Bossk. Their plot to kill Windu failed, and Boba realized that he had gone too far in trying to kill the Jedi Master—but he vowed never to forgive Windu.

During the rise of the Galactic Empire, Boba gained a reputation as one of the galaxy's deadliest bounty hunters. His distinctive Mandalorian armor helped keep stories about the Mandalorians alive in the galaxy after the Empire's subjugation of the planet Mandalore. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, Boba worked for Jabba the Hutt. Shortly after the Battle of Hoth, Boba and other bounty hunters were gathered by Darth Vader, the Dark Lord of the Sith, to locate Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, hoping to use them to lure Luke Skywalker into a trap. The plot was successful, and Boba took Solo, who was frozen in carbonite, to Tatooine to collect the bounty that Jabba had placed on him. After Solo's friends in the Alliance to Restore the Republic mounted a rescue on Tatooine, a battle broke out over the Great Pit of Carkoon. Boba fought against the Rebel rescuers and was inadvertently knocked into the Sarlacc.

It is rumored that Fett escaped the beast, but this was never confirmed.

Boba has all the memories up until this death. As he plays his personal affairs close to the vest, other elements of his history may be explored as threads develop (especially if we ever get his wife Sintas Vel, and their daughter, Ailyn)...

As for why he looks like Manu Bennett and not Temeura Morrison? Well, in real life the two are cousins. As for why in-universe? ...Um... well, if this Boba was reconstituted via the scientists... he’s a clone of a clone, technically. Perhaps this has something to do with it? Genetically?

I also imagine it would give him a sense of ennui, feeling like he’s not an actual man and just another clone. Does he even have a soul? Maybe that’s too emo. We’ll see if that gets played up, but it’ll be a subtle part of him.

hmu if you wanna plot! He has no allegiance to either the Resistance or the First Order, he’s loyal to whoever pays him. That said, he does have his own code of conduct. He may refuse certain jobs, or change his mind if he learns he wasn’t told the whole story. It depends if the pay is worth compromising his honor.

what you need to know:

otalia morrow is a bounty hunter, meaning that she does violent and not great things for money. this is not something she’s torn up about. it’s work. the galaxy has all kinds of work. she tried bodyguard work for a year or two and it was boring, considering she hates staying in one place for too long. thus: this.

she is an echani, and comes from a matriarchal society in which hand-to-hand combat is the most honorable shit in the world. they have their own martial arts style, and it’s built into society. they literally fight to figure out what kind of person you are. so basically, she’s good at punching and kicking the shit out of you and using various melee weapons.

she’s also good with a gun, but given the opportunity, she will prefer to escalate to a brawl.

she left eshan thanks to what might politely be called family issues, somewhat disgraced and absolutely interested in never, ever going back. she cut all contact with everyone, especially her father (she still sends messages to her mother every few months, but even that is distant).

note that echani are near-human. they look basically human, minus white hair and silver eyes. there’s stories about them being able to predict their opponent’s moves in combat, but that’s not it at all. they just fight a lot, constantly, and are really fucking good at it.

otalia isn’t aligned with either the first order or the resistance. she is a hundred percent aligned with the highest bidder. or maybe if she finds one of them funny. good luck with whoever wants to recruit her.

lyr morrow is her younger half-sister, and otalia has approximately twenty percent of a single nurturing instinct in her entire body, so needless to say, dealing with that isn’t going well.

not force-sensitive. has no jealousy of those that are. seems to be a simpler existence to just sense things normally, honestly.

has mastered the art of the intimidating predatory walk and is generally terrifying, all things considered.

hi y’all, this is going to be a doozy pls bear with me. 

obi-wan has all of his memories up to the point after episode 1 (tpm) and just before episode 2 (aotc). he is still a newly jedi knight that has been training his newly padawan --- anakin skywalker, diligently and has helped him build his first lightsaber on the planet ilum. 

after the battle of naboo, obi-wan had shown the brilliant progress of his training under the tutelage of his late master, qui gon; quickly becoming an important member of the jedi council for his wisdom and practical attitude. 

since his revival, obi-wan continues his duty as a jedi knight ----- serving the people to accomplish peace and bring order. simply fulfilling the very thing he had been trained to do since he was a youngling. 

he doesn’t know how to feel about his own revival ------ it’s already difficult for him to wrap his head around the fact that he had died and been brought back to life. obi-wan knows that it is unnatural to bring the dead back to life and is reluctant of his existence; however, he will try to face this unnerved and learn the truth of why those of the past have been revived in the middle of this war.

of course, obi-wan will not waste a chance in trying to save the galaxy yet again with this opportunity.

tldr: he remembers nothing of the clone wars ------ doesn’t remember his duty to protect senator amidala from the assassination attempts, the discovery of the clone army, being captured on genosis, and/or so forth.

    ✕ …  Maul was incapable of letting go of his hate but if he had been able to what an asset he could have been to the ghost crew/rebellion bc of his familiarity with Palpatine and knowing how he thinks and works. but his desire to see the empire fall was out of revenge. He is as much a sith as ahsoka was a jedi but he still had darkness in him and even with obi was that was a /personal/ vendetta that drove him and gave him a sense of purpose and if he had actually succeeded he probably wouldn’t have known what to do with himself but he couldn’t just let go of his hate and anger and have a rebel family with Ezra and the ghost crew bc that’s just not who he is at the end of the day he didn’t really have a prayer. Born in grief. Raised in hate. Helpless to defy his fate~ He cared about his apprentices (Savage, and in his mind, Ezra) but it was def. unhealthy and messed up for obvious reasons. "Nah, I'm gonna blind Kanan and steal his apprentice." Spoilers for those who have yet to watch Rebels. He’s a lonely bitch tho even tho he wouldn’t admit it even to himself, he appreciates companionship to a certain degree.

    ✕ … would have liked nothing more than to topple Paplatine’s empire, save his vengeance against Kenobi. The latter seemed more feasible in his mind and gave him a needed sense of purpose after having lost everything. With the First Order, it’s not Palp’s Empire nor the Sith per se, but they would likely make crime lord activities difficult so...

    ✕ … had he won in his duel against Kenobi, he probably would have tried to find the one he believed he was protecting, The Chosen One. Probably would have tried to find Luke and make him his new apprentice, train him so that they could take on Palpatine and Vader together. Obviously that did not happen.
