even though messmer's winged snakes aren't venomous, the base serpent has an interesting detail: its mouth is very similar to a black mamba serpent

and these little fellas are extremely venomous. of course, messmer doesn't inflict poison during his fight, so it's confirmed he ain't venomous at all.

however, i still feel tempted to approach the possibility of the abyssal serpent/base serpent developing some sort of venom. and now i find myself studying back mambas and seeing a lot of messmer in them as well.

their body colors are very similar to the base serpent, pale, almost decaying. also, they are very agile and known for quick amount of attacks at once, as messmer does with his amount of combos. they hold an infamous reputation, but they are often described as recluse/elusive, unless cornered, attacking repeatedly. which is basically how we deal with messmer in the game.

i also love how black are their eyes, reminding me of the destroyed ones from the base serpent.

as for their venom, the symptoms are insane and mostly neurological, i find myself tempting to borrow the weakness, blurred vision, paresthesia and loss of consciousness. almost close to a paralysis.

there's nothing more dreadful than being unable to move inside the evil's lair, right.

It's so strange that I know two whitish serpents with golden prosthetic eyes removed from their right eye sockets.

(Also, I now want serpent Messmer and his winged snakes adorned with dainty jewelry.)

Are there any other creatures associated with an “Element” in Elden Ring?

We have fire associated with Snakes. Through the Serpent of Mt Gelmir and their relevant sorceries, and the Winged Serpents/Abyssal Serpent who are bonded to Messmer’s flame

Dragons associated with lightning, through Placidusax and his kin, through the Dragon Cult, and, interestingly Bayle (a betrayer) uses Flame Lightning.

Birds are associated with Winds (not counting the Death Birds as they are their own separate entity) with the Stormhawks, and the Stormlord in particular.

Are there any others?
