“What happened to your arm?”
It’s the first thing Tenko saw when he looked at her. He had always been sensitive to pain, both his own pain and others. Perhaps that’s why he can’t stop itching and picking at scabs. If he was a little more mature he might have the common sense to figure out she might not want to talk about her scars to a stranger, but he was still just a brat.
“Did you get burned? Do you have a fire quirk? Did it hurt? Did anyone help you when it hurt? Did you cry?”
Tenko bombarded her with question after question in innocent concern. He might have looked like any other child, if it wasn’t for his face. He was ugly as an exploded boil. It was all shriveled up and nasty. There were scratch marks around his eyes and neck, he was still bleeding from wound that split his lip, and he kept itching, making it worse and worse.
Despite the fact that he was covered in scars as well, he smiled at her and only paid attention to hers. The smile looked a little bit awkward on his rotten lips but he was trying his best. “Were you alone when all this happened? It’s alright, I’m here now.” Aha, I’m just like All Might.
