Does anyone remember a meta about the light/dark contrast in this scene (AC 1x05)? I swear I’ve seen it floating around but I can’t find it for the life of me.

They are map coordinates. 53 degrees, 72 minutes north, 27 degrees, 37 minutes west. "Purchase confirmed. Exchange at 0800, April 27th." That's less than two days from now. Coordinates are in the Mar'ina Horka Forest in Belarus. "Leviathan… to acquire prototype… havoc reactor."

I also forgot that the ‘care for a drink?’ ‘maybe some other time’ exchange was preempted all the way back in 1x05, but with roles reversed. It was right at the end of the ep when Peggy has just returned from Belarus and Daniel just realised that the blonde at the club is her. Knowing this makes him taking this line as a perceived rejection at the end of the season make much more sense (cos apparently that’s how he rejects people he suspects are traitors to the state).

(But still. Based on the show’s timeline, he literally did not wait for any clarification before packing his bags for LA. Danny boy why are you like this a;lskdfj)

1x05 is such an interesting turning point ep cos like you get Jack and Daniel changing their opinions of Peggy at almost the exact same point but in very different directions
