Armored Core Mermaids
…よくやった、621
“When’s this game gonna get hard?”
- famous last words from someone about to get their AC obliterated within 3 seconds
Pilot: LiquidaShun
AC: Guillotine Queen
A gen 3 augemented human and ex-mercenary whose recently reinstated their license. She is often spotted in proximity to HAUNTING HUNT. It is currently assumed the two have partnered up for some undisclosed objective.
Thought of an idea that makes "Chatty" Stick's roll as a doomed character feel even worse.
What if Chatty was one of the few characters that is aware of 621 going through sometime of time loop, similar to Sulla and of course Allmind. Buy he's 100% percent aware of it, he knows he's destined to be destroyed no matter what, but he doesn't say anything, he just accepts it. He's not human, he's never been properly "alive", he knows he'd shut down one way or another. Perhaps there's a certain comfort in knowing how it could end for him.
Chatty never tells Carla what he knows. He doesn't want to upset her or needlessly worry her. Carla would probably go crazy if she found out, once she realizes it's not a joke, it's Chatty of course its not a joke. It would destroy her, Chatty doesn't want that, he wants Carla to be happy, and he'd do anything to keep her from knowing.
Maybe once he drops a hint to 621 that he knows. In one of the many loops, maybe the last one. He realizes that they're aware of their position, the way they change every time. They're always off, he takes note of the differences. They become more human each time, show more emotion, maybe joke a little. Chatty's not sure how they actually feel, but by all reasoning he's sure they're probably traumatized, trying to cope with what they're doing. He lets them know he's aware because he wants to provide them some comfort, let them know they're not alone. He thinks it helps them, but he'll never know, once the cycle's broken he won't be there to find out.
I think it's so funny how mechs move in armored core sometimes like. They just slide on the ground moving through thruster propulsion alone. And because the legs are still used for walking sometimes they probably have high friction materials on the feet. Like you can clearly see sparks from the metal eroding away from the friction. Like Yeah makes sense that the missions are so short when the feet need to have more material added to them constantly.
Got a job for you, 621. This is one isn't from the corps, it's from an Independent by the handle, Melina. She needs you to slay the Demigod children of Queen Marika and claim the throne of the Elden Lord. This won't be easy 621, be careful out there.
