The Major and The Mystic || Lynette & Sharron

It was a relief to her that Lost Pages was still up and alive. She may not be the owner anymore but she was pleased that she had time freed up to write. She had settled nicely into her table with her supplies neatly placed on her table. She tucked her retractable cane into her bag.
Sharron wrote neatly and deliberately, though she wasn’t going to be able to spell check until the ink dried and she could trail her fingers over the words. Though something did start nagging at her mind when she heard footsteps. They would walk and stop every so often getting close to her.
She could tell someone was watching her, but she got the feeling it wasn’t the typical patron that was trying to tell if she was a ghost or a real person. No this person felt like they were making deliberate moves. Trying to assess her.
This person was really distracting her from her writing.
“Oracles?” Well her writing would have to wait. This mysterious woman seemed to have been reading what she had, “You seem knowledgeable on the subject. Are you interested in it?”
Well something was off about that, “I suppose you could say that.”
