Siren of the week poll (15th to 21st of December)
You know what time it is! And not gonna lie this weeks sirens are hard to choose from. From an old siren which went off randomly in East Sacramento to a siren which is a rare German dual tone siren to a siren which is one of the only sirens who exists footage of the siren in pulse. Today's siren of the day is the CYCLONE by ACA (Alerting Communicators of America)!
Today's siren is one I personally consider one of my favorite sirens to exist. The Cyclone siren. I can't describe to you why I like this siren so much. Maybe it's the fact that there's actual footage of it doing pulse from ACA themselves which to be honest is PRETTY cool. The first developments and design of the siren date back to the year 1968. Back in the 1970s, when the ACA documentary was released the Cyclone was called one of the most powerful and biggest omni directional sirens to exist. You see it was a pretty successful and is still a famous siren in the community. Another mystery of the Cyclone is its appearance in Clydach. It has been spotted on the roof of a factory however it's fate remains unknown.
