ticking ticking
so an acquaintance of mine died this past weekend. I first met him through tumblr, he was all up in the aca dec tag. we became friends, discovered we were both going to berkeley. we weren't particularly close, but we had some similar classes. we had similar historical interests. he invited me to parties and stuff. very dependable. very smart.
his death doesn't bother me so much in that I'm going to miss him; he wasn't a very big part of my life. but it makes me confront my own mortality in a way. my peers are going to start dying. people aren't going to be here forever.

Metro and Aca Dec
Today was an adventurous day. Going from city to city enjoying the view and then the Academic Decathlon even if I missed half of the tests. Even tho we weren't the smartest team, we were the funnest team. Haha everyone else was just staring at us while we laughed and danced in the hallways. I wish I could have join next year. OH WELL at least I got one medal x3
