Hi, if my grade report says "Winter 2019 Academic Decision: Decision pending. Grade(s) review in progress." can i still add courses for the Fall/Year semesters that will start this september? I still havent gotten my grade back for one course and i dont know if it will be up by my enrolment access date.

I think you should be fine enrolling in courses, and your enrollment access date/time should already be available for F/W ‘19/20.

what does "Winter 2019 Academic Decision: Decision pending. Grade(s) review in progress." mean? grade review in progress??

I believe it means what is says, your grades are being reviewed that’s why there’s no decision yet. Your grades may have been submitted late that’s why there’s a delay. “Decision Pending - This phrase means that no final decision on academic status can be made until all outstanding grades have been received.”

i got a deferred standing agreement with one of my profs bc i had a terrible first year due to ADHD that wasn’t diagnosed until a month or so before my final exams (I didn’t start meds until recently.) only had 3 courses during F/W, i failed one, got a D+ in another, and after my def standing i ended the last one with a C+ (all 6 credit courses) I’m in the BA program under LA&PS. Will I be kicked out? My GPA should update to be 3.0, if I understand my report correctly? I’m confused and scared

You should have your academic decision already, so you should know if you’re being withdrawn or not. Have you checked your student account or grade report on my.yorku.ca ? It says your academic decision and cumulative GPA on the grade report.

hi! I've received no email regarding my debarment decision why is that?

You need to give them some time. If you’re really concerned then you can always contact your faculty.

For academic decisions, does it say “Winter 2019 academic decision” for everyone? shouldn’t it be “fall/winter 2019-2020” or it that just a mistake on their end?

The decision was made in the Winter semester so it will say “Winter 2019”. No it’s not a mistake. The next academic decision will be made in August so it will say “Summer 2019”. The F/W 2019/2020 session hasn’t started yet.

hey I just saw my academic decision on grade report and I am debarred for two years what does that mean? also I have received no email or mail in general about this either

It means that you are being withdrawn from York for 2 years and will have to re-apply to come back.

Your faculty should send you an official email or letter in the mail eventually about the debarment.

When are academics decisions posted?

They’ve been updated now. I checked mine yesterday and I can see it.
