Fic/Drabble Prompt - “I’m going to need you to put on some underwear before you say anything else.“ (you choose the pairing)

Oh man! This has so much potential. Honestly, I can see it being either super angsty, or super cracky. I’m feeling the light-hearted humour at the moment though. Hope you enjoy! <3

“Bones!”

The door to Leonard’s room slams open, but by now Leonard is so used to Jim he doesn’t even glance up from the PADD he’s going over. He takes another leisurely sip of his coffee, and continues to review the case study they were going to be discussing in xenobiology tomorrow. 

“Bones!” Jim repeats enthusiastically, turning Leonard’s chair to face him. “I’ve figured it out!”

Leonard blinks, and frowns slightly as he catches a glimpse of what’s just behind the glowing blue writing on the otherwise clear PADD. He’s seen a lot of things over the past three years rooming with Jim. Hell, this isn’t even the first time he’s seen him like this, but that doesn’t mean he has to let Jim get away with this torture. Slowly, he tilts his head, meeting Jim’s eyes. Leonard arches an eyebrow at Jim, trying to ignore the fact that the blond is as bare as the day he was born.

“I know how to beat the test.”

Holding up a hand to stop Jim before he can get on a roll, Leonard clears his throat. “I’m going to need you to put on some underwear before you say anything else,” he drawls out.

“No! But Bones! You don’t-”

Leonard turns so his back is very pointedly to Jim. “You know the house rules, Jim.”

Jim sighs. “Yeah, yeah, all right. Boxers on before briefings,” he grumbles. “Way to steal my thunder, Bones.Don’t you like what you see?”

The problem is, Leonard very much likes what he sees, but he’s vowed never to make the first move with Jim. “Underwear,” Leonard replies promptly, and turns back to trying to focus on something other than the image of a very naked Jim Kirk standing inches behind him in his bedroom.

Doctor/Master drabble, can we get some academy-era fluff? :3

“Theet are you there?” came a familiar voice from the communicator. “Kosch?” answered the blond boy, voice heavy with sleep since he fell asleep on top of “multi-dimensional engineering” book that he borrowed from the library. He lifted up his head and looked at the holographic screen at the end of his bed. “Get up and come over here. And you should stop doing that” said his black haired best friend. “Doing what?” yawned Theta and got up, putting on a red coat, bumping his knee on his bed as he walked over to the screen. “Using books as pillows and wasting time sleeping, idiot. Come over now.” rolled his eyes Koschei and ended the call. Theta left the room and just saw all equipment in the room switching off as he left. He was still yawning and rubbing his eyes a bit, when he arrived a floor up at Koschei’s room. “So what did you want to show me, Kosch. I really like napping on books you know, it’s the smell… and ….” he started talking as he opened the door, but stopped mid sentence as he saw a big dirty machine like thing on the floor. His eyes went big and the fatigue was gone at once. “Where in Rassilon’s name did you get this?” “So you like it. I thought you would” laughed his friend as Theta knelt down, examining the engine. “It’s from that planet you like so much. Earth. It’s hardly a machine really. Extremely primitive.” Koschei continued talking, but was cut off when Theta shuffled over to him and hugged him. Tightly and it was clear how much he loved that silly present. “Thanks, Kosch” the blond said as they parted and he smiled broadly at the ‘sterling engine’ as the humans called it. “You’re welcome. Yet I’m still not sure why you like it so much. It’s just junk. Can hardly move anything forward” “You don’t understand.” sighed Theta and moved closer again, looking in Koschei’s eyes as he pressed their foreheads together. He closed them just as the transmission of emotions began. Soon the smile that was on Theta’s face appeared on Koschei’s. “You’re bonkers, but I get it.” he laughed as the link between their minds broke and reached for a screwdriver and offered it to his grinning friend: “So you want to take it apart now, or do you want to waste more time sleeping?”
