BIOGRAPHY!
title reads, “shin aeri, rising star of the korean rhythmic gymnastics”
even for a seventeen year old, she has accomplished a list of achievements under her belt—making her mark into the realms of the international arena with her ever so enchanting routine, which left spectators rather captivated by her elegance and flexibility.
a product of a former gold medalist and a respectable coach, aeri had been receiving lessons on gymnastics at the tender age of six. killing two birds with one stone as they nurtured her skills, honing them throughout the years as it passed. never complaining even with the rigorous and the never ending practice sessions, after all, this was something she had hold very close to her.
it was around when she was thirteen at the time that the heavens seemed to be taking a favor bestowing upon her as she won the all-around gold medal, making her debut to various tournaments and such—finally spreading her wings. earning a few medals here and there, evoking more appearance than ever until she finally debuted in the olympics a year prior.
now, she’s set to prove to the rest of the world that she had what it takes to display her improvements and make her way onto the top five in the world ranking.
which was why aeri had attended dongnam in the first place, choosing the school which seem to suit well with the requirements coming from an aspiring athlete herself: from training to downright to academics being merged into one. she had another year to go before she could aim and settle for more.
"happy birthday, oppa! i'll bake you a cake when i get home, okay?"
“well, it’s the thought that counts. i doubt you even remember the kind of cake i like.”
a faint smirk, one with a hint of kindness behind it. it’s hard not to fall for the television aeri, and even harder not to fall for the real one. and the cake: it’s a tradition he remembers from his childhood, long before his costume change into a horrific embodiment of malevolence. but the thought that she’ll continue it makes his throat close up a little bit, makes his smile soften, before his expression grows arrogant once more and he flicks her lightly in the temple.
“and don’t call me ‘oppa.’ i just turned older than you.”
