I just started atralin (which I do use with acanya but every other day) and I started my birth control (which is suppose to help) so I might post pictures of progression every couple weeks :-)

has anyone on here used acanya and ziana together for acne? i use acanya in the morning and ziana at night. i was wondering if you guys had any symptoms or reactions from either of them.

On another note I'm almost on week two of starting my new skin cream the dermatologist gave me. I've realized that it makes my pimple size a lot smaller. I'm getting acne, but it's way smaller (I'm not complaining). It's not getting rid of my acne marks and I think that when I start my other cream on Friday then that one will really get rid of those. Also I'm usually breaking out a lot this time of the month but I'm not (knock on wood) also I start birth control very soon I'm excited :-)

Acne

Holy shit okay. I’ve probably had acne since I was 12 or so and now it’s actually awful. I decided to start seeing a dermatologist along with my 17 thousand other doctors.

Anyways, when I went 3 months ago he gave me atralin, acanya, and clindamycin phosphate lotion. It looked a little better but not much. My face got very red wherever I put any of it. I’m only supposed to put it on acne zones, so I have lines of my regular skin.

I went back to the dermatologist on Tuesday and he said it looked a little better but not much. He then prescribed me solodyn 65 mg. so far it’s working a little bit but it only gets rid of the red pus filled acne which I’d kind of like to get rid of last because my persistent acne is so bad. But I mean it’s going away so.

Has anyone else been on solodyn?? I took it last night and when I woke up my eyes, mouth, and hands were so dry.
