Day 9 - I know I'm bound to plateau soon but I'm still averaging a loss of over a pound a day. My skin feels softer and clearer. The sacrifice is definitely worth it. #doterratrimshake #weightlossjourney #doterrahdclear #doterraslimandsassy #nomoreadultacne #ihateacne
I’m worried. It’s been 11 days since my 3rd month started (so it’s my 71st day) and I still get new pimples and blackheads… Is it normal? :( And also I have some pimples that have been here for months so I'm scared they’ll never go away… I’m just so scared that Accutane won’t work. :( Yes, my skin is improving. But I see a lot of people saying that after 3 or 4 months, their acne is almost completely gone and I’m scared that it won’t be the same for me. I’m in my 3rd month and still get new pimples, so… :(
Btw I was reading a magazine yesterday. It was talking about acne. And it said that according to a study, 97% of the persons who have severe acne think that their acne has affected their social life ; 92% of the persons who have acne are permanently worried and anxious ; 92% feel agressive, frustrated and ashamed of their severe acne.
This needs to change. It makes me so angry that acne is perceived as something ugly or disgusting. It’s not. Acne is something normal. I honestly think that I wouldn’t be so affected by my acne if people didn’t consider it as something ugly.
Anyway. Love you 💕
I'm pretty sure having acne in the Mexican world is the equivalent to having AIDS.
Me
Acne
Holy shit okay. I’ve probably had acne since I was 12 or so and now it’s actually awful. I decided to start seeing a dermatologist along with my 17 thousand other doctors.
Anyways, when I went 3 months ago he gave me atralin, acanya, and clindamycin phosphate lotion. It looked a little better but not much. My face got very red wherever I put any of it. I’m only supposed to put it on acne zones, so I have lines of my regular skin.
I went back to the dermatologist on Tuesday and he said it looked a little better but not much. He then prescribed me solodyn 65 mg. so far it’s working a little bit but it only gets rid of the red pus filled acne which I’d kind of like to get rid of last because my persistent acne is so bad. But I mean it’s going away so.
Has anyone else been on solodyn?? I took it last night and when I woke up my eyes, mouth, and hands were so dry.
Suwuckejxu I hate acne
ya know what sucks?
spending nearly $300 on copays / medications that your insurance doesn't cover to STILL have terrible skin. everyyyything i do from what i eat to what i drink to what facewash and laundry detergent i use, how often i wash my face, how often i wash my pillowcases, etc. is dedicated to trying to get rid of my acne but NOTHING HELPSSSS
Starting my 3rd month of Accutane today...
my face is not getting better at all... its really discouraging.
3 more months.
M: (After applying foundation...) Can you see my pimple?
A: .... Which one?
M: TT__TT...
