okay, the names of the medications i was prescribed were solodyn and epiduo! i read a couple of nasty things about epiduo burning, but yknow if it ends up working then i might put up with some burning lmao
if anyone has experience with either of these message me!!
GUYS I've been on an antibiotic and prescription topical a for my acne for two weeks. AND IVE NEVER gone this long without a new breakout. And my face is so smooth I could cry. I am so happy I finally saw a doctor.
So today I visited my dermatologist and I'm starting Solodyn for cystic acne (sorry if that's tmi for some of you). I'm really hoping it's going to work because the next step is accutane. I'm a little terrified of the side effects of accutane, but I would be willing to do it to stop my painful face problems...
just did a face mask, hopefully it'll moisturizer the fuck out of my ever peeling skin. fuck these Meds.
Update!
I’ve been on Solodyn for about 3 months now & my skin still isn’t as clear as it was while on Accutane. However, I’ve recently discovered the tea tree oil line from The Body Shop. The tea tree oil products are supposed to “combat breakouts & tackle excess oil" which are my exact problems, so I thought I’d give it a try! I’ll post a picture of the six products I bought & maybe update you guys on my progress if you’re interested? Let me know!
