➳ a child with a child.

      there was something wrong with the scene that was happening in that moment. youngjae stared at his friend’s child for a moment before starting to make silly faces for them, starting to laugh when he heard the child’s laughter. he grabbed their little hands, singing “mary had a little lamb”, moving their arms up and down to dance with the tune. he started wiggling his body a little bit as well, getting into the song he was singing. there was something definitely wrong with what was happening. instead of youngjae helping sana like he said he would, he gave her the plastic bag he brought, and immediately started playing with her kid, ignoring whatever words she said if she even said any.

       as he finished the song, he grinned at the child, patting their head softly before looking around for sana, finally remembering why he was there in the first place. when he spotted her, he made his way towards her, ‘ sana !! ’ he said with a singy-songy voice, smiling at his friend. ‘ your kid is so cute, call me if you ever need a baby sitter ! ’ he laughed, looking at her, giving her a thumbs up. 

      ‘ but on another note ! ’ he pointed to the plastic bag that he brought, ‘ i brought you some food. i didn’t know what you wanted specifically, but i figured you didn’t have time to cook or go out to grab something to eat. i got some kimchi, gimbap, and some hotteok ! ’ he paused, ‘ but if you want i can go get something else? if not, just tell me what you need me to do and i’ll do my best ! ’

his head was spinning. why was that, it was because he so carelessly left his notebook in god knows where, and didn’t realize it until he was heading back to his dorm room. now joon was striding quickly through the hallways checking every nook, and cranny to see if he dropped it. he checked bathrooms, the floors of the halls, and even the classes that he had today. he was about to give up hope until he seen a familiar looking book in the hands of a female he’d never seen before. the worst about it is that she was flipping through the pages.

joon’s eyes widened. not anyone could look in that book of his. the notebook wasn’t just any book, but it was his lyric book. verses he’d written from the time he started writing lyrics till now. he wasn’t ready to show that to the world, and even though it was one person that was enough to make him freak out. it didn’t take more than a minute to make his way to the other, and snatch the book out of his hand. okay, so maybe it was a bit rude that he snatched the book away from her, but it was invasion of privacy to look into other people’s things.

he looked at the other with a slight frown upon his face. his expression made clear that he wasn’t fond of her being nosy, and he definitely didn’t want her asking questions about anything in it that would make this situation more awkward than it already was. “ didn’t your parents ever tell you about looking through other people’s shit? ”

it’s still light out.

the late afternoon sun waking jaebum from his afternoon nap, a soft groan escaping the political science major’s lips as sat up, a frown appearing on his face as he looked at the time. damn, he slept for that long? luckily jaebum didn’t have a shift that evening. but alas losing two hours of study time wasn’t the greatest thing. 

but jaebum couldn’t wallow in self-pity for much longer as the sound of the penthouse’s doorbell ringing entered the empty space ( his roommates seemed to be gone that day for whatever reason ). it left jaebum to make him his way towards the door, footsteps sluggish as he was still recovering from his rather lengthy nap.

as he pulled opened the door, a yawn escaped his lips, before his eyes lit up with recognization - he's only met yuta's sister once or twice, therefore he still felt a bit awkward as he bowed his head slightly and made way for sana to come into the penthouse.

" ah, hello sana-ssi, come in please."

highlight.

it was a particularly disgusting day; the kind that even though the skies are overcast and it’s raining the humid is so thick that it causes your clothes to stick to your skin. he had awoken this morning in a particularly dreadful mood. his roommate had decided to ignore the fact he had been trying to sleep and rest up for a particularly big test in his physics class, the same exam test that he had been worrying over for the past week or so.

he had forgotten to set his alarm and had almost overslept but had been saved by a loud thump from the next dorm over. his professor had a nasty tardy policy and after being scared awake he had less than fifteen minutes to get ready and get across campus before throwing himself in his seat. needless to say he was feeling a bit hurried as he threw on the first pair of clothes he could find and barely remembered to grab his bag before rushing out the door. although he managed to make it, he felt anxious and rushed the entire time he had been taking the test.

needless to say he was pretty sure there was some kind of cosmic deity out there who decided that it would hilarious to make mark tuan’s day and life a living hell. the last few minutes of class were exhausting and it leaves him bouncing his knee in anticipation for the clock to click off the last few minutes of this particular hell. and finally when the minute hand passes the 10 minute mark, he throws himself out of his seat and tosses his bag over his shoulder before slipping out the classroom door.

he manages to make it halfway across the campus before mark collapses onto an empty bench. he lets out a huge sigh and takes in the sight of his classmates lost in their own routines and schedules. he hears the jumbled conversations in passing, korean falling from their lips effortlessly and in a small space usually hidden pretty well on the edge of his heart tinges slightly. the feeling of homesickness washes over him and leaves him chewing at his bottom lip in worry. he misses the familiar feeling of english and mandarin, that complete feeling of fully understanding with almost little to no effort.

mark continues to chew on his bottom lip, weighing his options. it seems that he finally comes to a decision as he lets out another heavy sigh and fishes his phone out of his pocket. his fingers quickly flying over t  [ ☀ lady sana ] are you busy? [ ☀ lady sana ]  I had a pretty bad day and could use some ice cream

being yuta’s ex girlfriend from quite a few years ago, mijoo couldn’t really ignore the fact that sana was starting bidulgi soon ( and that they knew each other for quite a time as well ) and the girl couldn’t really help but to feel happy that they were both in the same major. with that being said mijoo didn’t waste much time to contact with sana against and try to make sure everything was in order and going ok, without accidents like before. ‘’sana’’, the junior calls the girl out, papers in her hands, her steps quick in order to catch the other. ‘’how are you feeling? excited to be starting uni soon?’’, she asks with a smile in her face ( she was truly happy to have sana back and in the same major as her, she couldn’t really hide it ). ‘’not to stress you out or anything but since i know the first year can be quite bad sometimes, i have some works we did in the first year and notes i took to help you out!! i don’t want you to be super stressed so maybe this well help you out for some time?’’ - and people sometimes even think of her as a cold girl, if they only saw how dedicated she is to her friends. ‘’do you want to sit down and drink something? i’m sure you have news or any concerns, today i’m all ears’’
