Being a teenager and having anxiety and depression but not anxiety and depression bad enough to warrant the attention required to deal with it properly was fucking wild.

Like I had this old red journal that I used only to vent into and like, it had the likes of:

And this would happen nearly every day for years.

After so many terrible ass takes on the whole Whitley and Weiss encounter, that "defense of whitley" post was a breath of fresh air lmao. And thank you for defending Sun too. People are saying he stalked Blake, yet these same people are saying Blake didn't abuse Sun because apparently abuse only applies when it's consistent, but is that really the case? Isn't one time enough to be considered abuse?

also you’re right, once is enough. that has been a consistent on abuse awareness campaigns, that it only has to be one time they verbally abuse you, one time they hit you, one time they control your money. it only takes one time & that should be the only time. & this is ignoring the fact that blake’s abuse of sun was consistent !! whenever she was angry with him during volume 4, she slapped him. she threw his scroll. she stood over him while he was injured with her fists clenched to the point that he flinched away from her.

whitley didn’t deserve what weiss did to him. sun didn’t deserve what blake did to him. call these “excuses” to forgive or explain their shitty behaviour for what they are; abuse apologism. plain & simple.
