I'm not crying. I just have something in my eyes... something called feelings and emotions. 🥺😭 Not only did Neil 100% deserve this win, but his entire speech was beautiful. So many of us have felt this way about the game. And I can't speak for everyone here by any means, but Astarion's storyline, his abuse, his trauma... I've felt connected to it all the most because of things within my own life. At the very least, this game is so cathartic for so many of us. Baldur's Gate 3 goes above and beyond to be inclusive and make sure -as Neil stated here- that we feel seen and represented. And Neil takes every single opportunity he has to let us know that we are seen and that he is so very grateful for everything. This man deserves all of the awards, all of the love, and everything in between.
