🏹 "The Odyssey" Review 🏹

I made the decision of reading the synopsis of "The Odyssey" online before I watched the film thinking I would understand it better, but I deeply regretted it.

"The Odyssey" Movie has TREMENDOUS potential but failed to deliver (the synopsis was way better).

Even though the production is fantastic, the story is FLAT. No excitement. You don't feel the emotion, you don't root for anyone.

I kind of wish they would've made you root for Matt Damon like they did for Russell Crowe in "Gladiator" 🤦🏻‍♀️

That being said, the ending is absolutely SPECTACULAR!!!! Why couldn't they give us 2hrs and 52 minutes of scenes like that?!?? 😱

If they would've done that, this would've been "The Movie Of The Year" for me.

So based on my experience, I would recommend you wait til you can watch it at home and fast-forward it and just watch the ending. But if you still want to go to the theater, I recommend you go in with low expectations. 😉

Oh one more thing, there's this scene where this lady feeds "Odysseus"' men... It's SO, SO GROSS!!!!! Like, DISGUSTING! I almost couldn't stomach it. 🤢 I''m just telling you this because I wish there would've been someone to warn me.🍭

🌺"Moana Live-Action" Review🌺

This movie has a good story. I mean, it's "Moana".. We love "Moana". But the movie lacks emotion, it just feels like actors going through a script. With the special effects... I have mixed feelings. The "day time" ones made the film feel really low budget but the "nighttime" ones were really cool. I also really liked the scene with the coconuts, I thought it was really well made. Okay, now about Dwayne Johnson... When I heard the news Auliʻi Cravalho was going to step back from playing "Moana" in the live-action. I thought that "The Rock" should've done the same and given the role to Jason Momoa. And after seeing it today I think that would have been a better choice. Don't get me wrong, the Rock did a good job but his character felt a little forced. I think Jason would've portrayed a more natural character.🍭

🎥 ✨"Minions & Monsters" Review 🎥 ✨

I've always really liked the "Despicable Me" and the "Minions" movies. So when I saw the trailer for "Minions & Monsters" I was so excited thinking it was going to go one direction... but it went another. And I am so disappointed. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Don't get me wrong, I Ioved like the first 15 minutes, it made me laugh a couple of times and I really enjoyed all the old movie references. But the story just wasn't there. I was falling asleep 3/4th through the movie.🍭 Note: To all the people that are planning to take kids to see this movie. There's a scene like 5 minutes in, it shows the minions accidentally cutting the head off a queen. It's not graphic, no blood. But for it to be in a kids movie, I do think it was too much, it made me gasp. So just keep that in mind.

🇺🇸"Young Washington" Review🇺🇸

Although, this movie has a good story and I believe it's worth watching in theaters.. I don't think it's for every movie goer. In the sense, that in middle to like 3/4th of the movie, it explains a lot and becomes slow paced. So if you're the type of movie goer that goes to the movies to unwind, let their mind go and just be entertained, this film might not be for you. You might find it a bit boring. I think I would only really recommend it to someone that has interest in history.

✨🌸 "Elle" Plot Episode Review 🌸✨

When news broke that they were making this series I was so excited, given that "Legally Blonde" is one of my favorite movies. Well I finally got the chance to watch the plot episode today and ... I didn't like it. And believe me I wanted to like it so much but I just couldn't. Don't get me wrong, it's a really cute concept but it just tries too hard. It doesn't that heart, that... endearing-ness that made you root for "Elle" in the original movie and ultimately made you "love her". And to be honest, I found this "Elle" kind of annoying, you don't connect with her. I read comments of other people saying "This series should've been about Elle's daughter". And I have to agree, I think it would've been a more heartwarming series with the potential of a great message.🍭

🥃🦴💥"Supergirl" Review💥🦴🥃

Okay, so I watched "Supergirl"... and I'm happy to report it's not as bad as the internet is making it seem.

Although the movie needs some MAJOR storytelling refinement, the story concept and message are entertaining enough to where it makes you want to know how it ends.

I do have to admit however, I wouldn't watch this movie in theaters again. But I definitely believe it's worth watching once.🍭

📰 "I Will Find You" Series Review 📰

I REALLY enjoyed this series, a lot more than I thought I was going to. There isn't anything I really didn't like about. The story is well written... It's fast paced, exciting, intriguing, it has "twists" and the acting is very good!! This is a good, very fun watch!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!🍭
