2. Talk about three of the most important ships throughout your life.
Gamkat.. my first capital letters O T P…… homestuck was actually the first time I really got into shipping, I think?? gamkat is an awful trash ship though. and they’re perfect together. we could have had it all…
Ummm… Charles/Anna from the Alpha and Omega spin off of Mercy Thompson was kind of the nail in the coffin of “heh yeah you’re so into h/c”. Kinda the same deal to a lesser degree w/ Mercy/Adam, b/c that was in the main series so I read it first, but Charles/Anna is that bit of Mercy/Adam I love the most turned into the entire ship.
For those of you who don’t know those books which is pretty much everyone, Anna has an Awful Past (her first pack (they are werewolves btw) was full of evil people) and Charles has some Issues (he’s the enforcer, he has to kill all the people who break the werewolf rules, so he doesn’t let himself get attached to anyone and he thinks he’s an awful person) and they are great together, and they cuddle, and tell each other that they’re not broken/evil/worthless/inhuman and are in fact actually amazing and perfect, and they protect each other, and love each other, and understand each other, and *stares dreamily into the sky*
now I really want to reread alpha and omega.. gonna have to bring those w/ me back to the dorm next time I go home……
Um. UM. third important ship…. Seshhoumaru/Kagome might be the first non-canon thing I shipped? like idk if I really shipped it, but this great author wrote a bunch of great fic for them that I liked despite the non-canon relationship, so. good enough?
9. Do you have many ships that never got together at all?
Totally. I ship like everything. It is statistically impossible for that to be mostly canon ships. Never getting together in canon is kinda nice actually…. b/c then there’s no way canon will get it wrong or make them break up or otherwise ruin it. (*sobs about gamkat*) But, being default for side fics is pretty great. while it lasts„„ (*more gamkat crying*)
15. Have you ever “shipped at first sight”?
Not really, b/c fandom makes me ship things. Unless it’s obviously canon perfect from first sight.

What kind of question is this?????? A ll of t hem?? what does that even mean. uh. u h. is this just asking to me pick favorites. is this like. who has crackling sexual tension in every single scene. ummm. maybe gamkat? in which case it’s.. crackling pale tension….. yeah, okay, sounds good. that is like, all they are. the Ultimate Serendipity.
27. Is there a ship you’ve shipped for most of your life?
I guess I kinda shipped like. silverstream/grey.. grey…. greystripe? was that his name? as a kid, and it’s not like I don’t ship it now, so. ??? Also feathertail/crowfeather, and I can’t remember if I liked leafpool/crowfeather or if I was just really invested in the obvious truth of the jayleafcrow theory. good times………
eh, I fandom hop a lot, get really invested in the current thing and then get really invested in the next things, there’s not really been anything steady.

I’m suddenly remembering that headcanon about john and karkat trying to do a sexy doctor roleplay and getting way more into the doctor part than the sexy part, working all night to save the patient, high fiving, and going to bed.
johnkat isn’t a particularly fave ship of mine, but that headcanon is pure gold.

KELSIER??? If Kelsier isn’t on your list and you’re in the fandom I’m very suspicious of you. Kelsier was incredible and had so many different intriguing facets I wish B Sandy could have explored further. I’d give an arm and a leg to get the full backstory between Marsh, Mare, and Kel.
SPOOK SPOOK SPOOK holy highstorms Spook was the character I never thought I would grow to adore. His development is hecka and watching him grow over the course of the series from a shy wilting little kid to this bamf-y hottie is like the greatest of things
Dalinar Kholin! I’ve had a dad crush on the highprince of dads since his first appearance in WoK. For some reason he reminds me of the main character in Gladiator. Just really honorable and firm and strong and GUHH I love morally ambiguous characters but my true favorites are just good people who fight so hard to make others better as well. I just like how Dalinar commands respect ya dig?? He is just so great???
Sazeddddd Sazed was just a precious man. His crisis in the latter half of the series really spoke to me. I cried so much over him lolololol
Aw shoot I guess I’ll stick Kaladork on this list. Kaladin gets on my nerves more often than not, especially in Words of Radiance like are you really this idiotic but overall I REALLY root for him as a main character and i just want him to be happy and not depressed or grumpy. I enjoyed his sections most out of both Stormlight Archive books and I think he’s also a really cool character. I think he’s pretty atypical of a male lead. He’s also a very morally upright character, and he tries so hard to do the right thing. I just want to pat his cheek and wrap him in blankets :«<
