hiii! what option do you recommend picking for “i was in the fandom” or “i like the media but i’m not in the fandom”?

[a bit of additional context: blue followed this up with another ask - "to add to my last ask i just realised the yes option says 'i am/was' 😓😓 but for no, which one?"]

If you enjoy the source material but don't necessarily interact with the fandom, I'd recommend voting "in the fandom" just for simplicity's sake. In this case, let's say "in the fandom" means "likes the source material" and not necessarily "interacts with the fandom itself," if that makes sense (it might not. I'm tired)

do you have the list of fics sorted by fandom anywhere? id love to look through specific fandoms of mine to search for fics that were submitted but i cant find the post

I have here a list of all the fandoms that currently have polls! Each one links to the tag on my blog for that fandom. Some fandoms that are technically separate from one another are combined to avoid hitting the hyperlink limit on Tumblr pages (i.e. Les Mis, Be More Chill, and Hamilton are all just listed as "Musicals")

A) The google doc is a great idea!!! Could you perhaps do a similar one of all the fandoms?

B) You didn't give your document a name and it is personally messing with me.

A) I'm planning on keep the fandoms on this list for now, but that could change in the future

Would you consider making a fandom tag list? (Unless you have already and I missed it!) I'd love to know what fandoms have fic polls already so I can jump straight to the ones I'm familiar with, vote, and then read the fics if I haven't already! :)

Have you ever considered making crossover fics polls have a "yes/no I'm in one fandom", a "yes/no I'm in both fandoms", and a "yes/no I'm in neither fandom"?

Mostly because I never know how to answer crossover fics where I'm in one of the fandoms but not the other.

I usually try to make it so the answers says "fandom/s" instead of "fandom", but I forget a lot lol. The intention is for it to kind of combine the two into one answer, if that makes sense. Like, regardless of whether you're in both fandoms or just one, the answer is the same

Idk if you've been asked before so sorry if you have but how long does it generally take for a submission to be posted?

I mean, it depends on how many submissions there are to post before it. For example, whoever submitted the most recent fic, which would be, uh...Submissions #1061 (good lord), there are roughly 390 submissions to get through before that one gets posted. Which would take...about a month and a half. Yikes.

It's been a while since the submissions got swarmed like this lol
