Diverse high load Industrial applications of rugged mesh screens
Support grids: The support grids are produced in different specifications. They are a single piece structure or can have multiple sections for easy retrofitting through existing options. Due to their high strength, durability and flow properties, the grids are commonly used in hydrotreaters, desulfurizers, gas sweeteners, ion exchangers and other systems. These grids offer excellent capability to withstand collapse or buckling even during operation where they need to withstand very high loads. They are highly effective than grating and have smoother surface to reduce abrasion.
Cartridges: Many industries use cartridges. They are rugged, precise and easy to clean. These screens are also suitable for all industrial operations. They can be used for conventional filtration and reverse filtration. The use of very fine wire increases the open area and makes the process more effective for slots smaller than 100 microns.
Shaped support grid: Shaped support grid is installed into the bottom head of processing vessels to allow better flow of gas or liquid, bed use, distribution etc.
The grid offers better performance than flat surface. The whole flat surface grid is a dead area, without reaction or drying adsorption occurrence. The mesh allows the entire volume to be filled with media, increasing the bed volume for the conversion of existing vessels to obtain higher process capacity and new vessels to be made shorter in shell length. The enclosed stainless steel bottom of panel allows that any bed material that may move under the panel do not enter the process flow. For systems having a coking potential, the screen can be used to eliminate dead areas, keeping catalyst on the bottom surface.
The flat grid’s design needs support beams to handle the weight of the bed and process pressure differential. With woven mesh screens, the vessel head supports the grid direction and develops a strong and durable structure without the need of additional rings or heavy beams. Each panel is fully enclosed with a bolted and gasketed connection to the central hub. The enclosed design allows the grid to expand and contract under the bed without compromising an external perimeter seal which may occur in a cyclic gas dehydration application.
Mesh screen for starch processing
The screens are designed to fit in an existing or new centrifuge application. The mesh basket enhances the starch refining by offering accurate and tailored slot sizes that are made to your needs.
These Monel mesh screens offer several features such as increased dewatering with long life. Fine mesh construction prevents clogging hence it withstands high backwash pressure
Sugar refining
The mesh screens have high mechanical strength. precise slot opening and large percentage of area, offering the increased amount of sugar refining. The self supporting mesh structure is engineered to withstand high stress and load of the sugar refining operation. These mesh screens are long lasting and resistant to abrasion. They are also easy to install and require low maintenance.
