So, as you’ve seen I went on a little road trip with this project and I’m glad I did. It’s thought me a lot and me and Ben worked our arses off for 2 weeks, whilst holding down a career job… Not too shabby at all. The final concept was something I was pleased with and made so much sense, Eastpak are a long lasting accessories brand and we wanted to show that through the ‘urban insider’. The concept is all about your story, you start your story when you buy your first Eastpak. They describe their customer as a city person but also can be adventurous, we needed that to show in our outcomes. The main outcome is the app, this app has a log in/profile page but it goes deeper into social media and also taps into the inner adventurist in all of us. To support the app is a poster series promoting them and we also came up with a launch party/urban insider day. The launch day would be set in big cities that had ‘cooler’ more urban areas. The app is based around journeys, pictures and just generally living the urban insider life style. The day also reflects that too, having different shops partake in different actives.
