I have this weird sense that this song is kind of an anthem or ~I know that feel~ song for those in the ace spectrum--not being able to return someone else’s love at all or in the same way because you don’t feel sexual/romantic attraction to that person, but you still care about them a lot and are sorry that this leaves them hurting, while still recognizing that this is just who you are and there’s nothing wrong with that.
