Ok I haven’t been on here much in a few years and gave up modifying my old blog boopmcrantypants—which is still up and running, just I don’t really post stuff.

Awww look I was so young and adorable.

I sort of accidentally adopted this cat from my at-the-time neighbor. His name is Rio. You’ll probably see pics of him a lot.

And adorable, so probs a lot.

Anyway, I turned 30, got most of my labels figured out (agender asexual with ADHD, depression and diabetes), and started coloring my hair green a couple years ago since it being green makes me generally a happier person.

And now there’s a pandemic so that sort of gives me more free time, so hopefully now I’m back I’ll be on here more.

Listen, we all know Phil Collins went really hard on the Tarzan soundtrack, but the beginning of the movie is also overlooked—if it’s not as beautiful and span-of-a-relationship-catching as UP I don’t know what is. The animation is SO GOOD. Like, I bet you that’s WHY he went so hard. He had to get the songs right to encapsulate that feeling, and BY G-D HE DID.

I hecked up royally with a comment mostly because I’m a writer and neurodivergent and I got excited and lost my filter but now the author discontinued the story—I apologized (the sincere kind—I hecked up and hurt you and I’m sorry and I won’t do it again) and deleted my comments but is there anything else I can do in the meantime maybe?

At this point, it’s up to that author more than you I think. When you make a mistake that hurts someone else, all you can do is apologize sincerely and hope they forgive you. The person who was hurt gets to decide whether that happens, and when. 

They might still be upset, but you did what you could. You admitted your fault, apologized for it, and tried make it better. 💚

So I was shoe shopping with my mom and I found these boots, and naturally my first thought was OMG DANNY PHANTOM COSPLAY. And now I want these deeply impractical white boots... D:

Do you ever see the tag “consensual underage sex” but one of the pair is not only above 18 but also ABOVE 25? THAT’S? NOT? A THING? I HAVE SOME CONCERNS.

So I started a new job a couple days ago and naturally I brought my phone? My boss mentioned having recently had a stroke and we mentioned needing a new step ladder. Obviously I’m diabetic so chronically ill and I take several meds for that and other stuff but like... ever since then I keep seeing this exact ad over and over and over and over again on here? Like, my ads are usually worryingly tailored, but Tumblr is outrageously so. This, though? Not so much. And it’s irritating that it’s this exact ad OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. STOP.

I just feel like there are a lot of little nods to things from my childhood lately that set me from 0-100 angry like I WILL END YOU HECK I HECKING HATE THE THING like wow I did not realize I disliked the thing so much??? How long have I just been putting up with things to make it easier on other people and then just hating the thing I have to put up with as a result? That last one I was like 4 when the cartoon aired and I HATE IT like...

Or maybe it’s largely that I hate pointless nihilism like “everything is bad that’s just how it is” vs “everything is ridiculously hilarious and we’re all going to die anyway so why not have fun with it?” nihilism.

Or both?

But just I get really angry at little things that others are like “no this is fine” and like IT IS NOT FINE and I don’t—
