So an allosexual friend just spent half an hour trying to explain sexual attraction to me, and that was entertaining and frustrating - like no, friendo, I don't know what you mean by butterflies in stomach when you kiss someone but I do know about the butterflies right before diving off a diving board 👀🤦

Also, I told them that "Kiss just has a little more intimacy to it, so it feels special, like a hug feels more special than a handshake, but that's about it" and they went "👀👀👀 are you serious?! That's what a kiss feels like to you?!" And I was like... Yeah love, wanna talk about how much I like New Girl, now, please? 😛

I've had to learn the hard way that that when you want a conversation to stop you can't just say. "I don't know what you're talking about."

They will try to explain it to you. Every time.

"I don't know what you're talking about and I don't want to know."

If they still try to explain it to you they're not the kind of person you want to hang around. They disrespected your wants that you actively communicated to them.

I know this may seem obvious but when you're anxious it can be hard to communicate effectively.

So i get really uncomfortable when people im with start to talk about how attractive someone else is. Like its not the whole "oh he's nice" thing but when its the "ugh omg his back muscles ooooo i would kill to bite those" then yeah i get fucking uncomfortable.
