Bro post Felix’s relationships with other survs headcanons you won’t
This has been collecting dust in my inbox so I will literally just post this and allow my paranoia to never look at it again :)))
My relationship headcanons are actually more or less in-line with @dweetwise's Felix headcanons!!! I actually helped on a few, so sorry if I seem repetitive to their post(s), which can be found here (Part 1 & Part 2). I’ll try to keep mine a bit different, and maybe amend some of my own relationship examples!!! <3
NOTE: I may have gone overboard and written a meaty paragraph for each survivor - I’m going to tag all of them, and I apologize if I clog a tag!!! Just scroll to a specific survivor if you wish (or read it all!!! :D)!

Dwight: Felix’s very first trial was with Dwight amongst the group. His initial impression made Felix think the leader was some scrawny, selfish young man who was desperate to survive by any means necessary; to the point where the glasses-clad flake climbed into a locker - which Felix was aware of - rather than opening the exit gate, which lead to the architect’s agonizing demise. He remained very hurt and betrayed by Dwight’s lack of altruism, despite putting on his artificial act when introduced to each survivor at the campfire. Rather than damaging his public opinion, Felix would continue to keep his resentment for the impromptu leader private; giving him a very firm, formal handshake and leaving the conversation on a metaphorical backburner for later. Once acclimated to The Fog’s habitants and adversaries, Felix received more and more experience with his companions - especially Dwight. It bewildered the visionary; the kid made inconsistent behaviors. Some trials, he was a serious contributor to everyone’s jarring escape; while in other matches it was almost as if he became mentally desolate - he was unable to handle the terrors that plagued him for years, let alone longer than the others. Felix came to the dawning realization that Dwight was more than what he seemed - sometimes their leader needed ways to handle his internal anxieties and stress about the realm they now had to call their home. Felix easily compared it to when he was in his youth: antisocial, alone, and rejected by those whose opinions Felix wished to appease. His empathy lead to a mutual understanding between the two, and Felix made it his own mission to give Dwight some guidance on how to handle his inner turmoil. In-between trials, they sometimes break off from the group to practice public speaking and interpersonal communication, so Dwight is able to strengthen his communication skills with the team - or, at least like Felix, he can fake it until he makes it.
Meg: Meg’s uncontrollable energy juxtaposes with Felix’s social awkwardness. Her frequent rowdiness isn’t a crime, but it's more detrimental than beneficial at both the campfire and in trials. If he’s not being outran by her in trials, his introvert batteries deplete whenever she's around; constantly bouncing off the walls despite Felix begging her to help him work on his generator. More often than not, her restlessness causes her to damage their generator, and the dirt from her running shoes will have long-settled by the time the killer comes to investigate the noise, subsequently leaving Felix in a life-or-death situation. There’s not anything specific that pertains to the connection between Felix and Meg outside of trials, other than wanting to be out of each other’s hair due to their clashing personalities. If they’re stuck with each other between matches, though, they make awkward short talk - regardless of how awkward it is - and conversate about Meg’s future as a track star and her college scholarships. They don’t put too much thought into these discussions, due to the gravity of their situation, but talking about her future potential and academic endeavors is a positive topic in such a dreary and gloomy realm. It’s not that they dislike one another, but they come from such different backgrounds/mental maturity that they’re best left at mutual respect.
Claudette: With Felix’s parents, scientific/medical knowledge isn’t something foreign to the Richter family. Claudette and him like to share conversations about the various health sciences, but it’s more of a physical conversation (via diagrams, old books) than verbal, since Claudette prefers hands-on experience, and Felix prefers to remain silent unless prompted to speak. When possible, Claudette will take Felix along with her to analyze and collect the varying botanical life in the differing regions of each map. Felix is more than happy to be separated from the crowd at the fire, and it gives him an excuse to privately enjoy the scents from the plants, which remind him of the perfumes and fragrant sprays that his clients would frequently wear; from back in the real world. Their frequent walks into the forest are quiet, but both Felix and Claudette happily share their previous knowledge from before The Fog with one another. Felix’s Desperate Measures paired with Claudette’s Botany Knowledge lead the duo to act as rapid healers for their teams in matches, and both will frequently find one another immediately going to save the other off hook before anyone else. Claudette finds Felix to be a great partner when it comes to biology, and Felix finds comfort in the fact that Claudette is valued by the team, despite her introverted nature. She subconsciously introduces Felix to the concept of taking off his social mask, and allows him to be his more quiet self whenever they are alone.
Jake: Originally coming from a high-pressure family, Jake distanced himself from his old life to find acceptance in the wilderness. It’s no surprise, then, that when Felix appeared in The Fog, the both of them got started on the wrong foot. Jake saw Felix as another "one of the wealthy" that Park was surrounded by in his youth. Despising those expectations and repressed memories, Jake wanted nothing to do with Felix’s pricey suits and synthetic personality - he saw such all the time when his own father was networking with clients. When Felix introduced himself to the survivalist, Jake just scoffed and looked at him in disgust, neglecting the handshake to walk off into the forest, alone. For a very long period of time, both Jake and Felix remained incredibly distant: Jake wanted nothing to do with the architect, and there was no way in hell he was going to let that part of his former life bleed into this new world. As much as Felix felt pressured to form connections with his new ‘colleagues’ for a lack of a better term, Jake was - shockingly - the first one to break their silence. The saboteur, during one night at the campfire, blatantly called on Felix to teach him "that item perk,” and rather than allow himself to be a flustered, stuttering mess, Felix saw it as an opportunity to extend an olive branch towards their newfound acquaintance. They began to spend more time together during trials; Jake giving up his toolbox in favor of Felix getting more use out of its tools. When out of the trials, they like to work on their own, personal projects and/or trinkets. Both aren’t avid speakers - Jake preferring the sounds of the wilderness and Felix using the time to appreciate the seldom peace and quiet, which is incredibly rare in a torturous realm, and with twenty-something people at the campfire. Once Felix’s more introverted personality started to bloom through his façade, though, Jake became more open-minded towards the architect. It wasn’t long until the two of them found themselves in each other’s personal bubbles. Jake refuses to admit it, but he’s starting to - slowly - separate Felix’s past from his current, introverted self.
Nea: With the personality of a troublemaker, Nea’s brash nature collides with Felix’s quiet conformity - his mature and anxiety-ridden temperament are always at the foot of her teasing. Nea’s boredom and outlash towards her former living environment in America smoothly transferred to the realm; not too shy to victimize not only the killers but her very own teammates out of a need for a change. With a strong distaste for authority, it’s no surprise that Nea started - and remains - to not make acquaintance with the architect, especially with his wealthy background. It reminds her too much of her friend’s efforts to help the needy, and despite being humble, Felix is only seen as among the toxic upper class. The German is still able to keep his cool around the younger teen, though, after learning about her troubled environment back at home. It wasn't out of a sense of pity, but Felix keeps a small sense of sympathy for Nea - she was placed in a foreign country during a critical developmental period, and her parents did nothing to make her feel as if she had a choice in the matter; deciding to rebel. Felix knew this and attempted to extend a hand to her; providing a gentle reminder that she wasn't alone in these trials, and how there's not too few survivors that are from Europe, either. Instead, she mouthed him off and made a venomous comment about his taste in clothing; seeming to cocoon herself even more after his haphazard attempt at friendship. Embarrassed, Felix came to terms that he doesn’t need to be friends with everyone, and some survivors just aren’t going to like him, especially his social appearance (and apparently, now, his taste in style). Currently, they’re best at keeping away from one another, but seem to remain at a 'neutral' stance according to Nea’s standards.
Laurie: Laurie is very mature for her age and Felix is one to pick up on her introverted and quiet, focused nature. Her almost-perfect life (save for Myers) in both academics and her passion for babysitting is almost something Felix is shamefully envious of, due to his upbringing and unnatural relationship with The Imperiatti. Felix tries to take good care of her in trials - though she holds her own - and likes to talk to her about her babysitting ventures, so he can add more knowledge to his parental skills. They both like to dream about the means of escaping, and their common interest of childhood innocence leaves Felix with a sense of comfort. He’s high-strung in terms of his anxiety towards being a parent/future role model for his child. Laurie likes to remind him that all/most parents were, at some point, taking care of their 'first', (I mean, her whole hobby was babysitting for stressed and overworked parents) but Felix's inner dialogue seems to disagree. He just wants to be the best, supportive and emotionally available father for his child, and his crippling perfectionism leads to an overwhelming amount of self-doubt towards his abilities. Ignoring the opinions of the other survivors, Felix is shameless in regards to turning towards Laurie for parenting advice; even shamefully going to her with his ramblings - “what if they’re not a little kid anymore, if- when we escape? How do I care for a minor? A teenager?” which leads Laurie to have to do some de-escalation tactics on Felix, whose fears spiral into what-if situations. She still takes the time to be patient with the architect and give him small tips/lessons on the various age groups she’s babysat for, and he’s eternally grateful for both the information, and her consolidation.
Ace: It takes a one to know one, and Ace was able to see through Felix’s curated persona as soon as the architect stepped through the fog. Almost polar opposites, it came to a surprise when the group finds both of them became friends. Ace’s shady interactions and poor lifestyle scream red flags towards Felix’s “in the spotlight” character (when it comes to his multi-million dollar projects), but both understand the pressures and sacrifices they made to get to where they are, now. Ace is shocked when Felix gives him the time of day, since the gambler is never taken seriously by their peers. Of course, lots of that informality can be contributed to his carefree charm, but it feels like the first time he’s ever been listened to; especially when said person appears to have his life together. Felix dismisses Ace's initial praise for his work, and actually begins to confide in the Argentine; who gets a closer look into his family/work dynamics and, for once, becomes a listening ear and lets the architect vent to Ace about his fears and doubts about his practice. Eventually, their time spent together becomes more personal, and both begin to learn and develop their “true” personalities - Felix allowing himself to be more introverted towards others (and therefore abandoning parts of his curated personality), and Ace becoming more realistic in the way he views not only his environment, but himself. In other words, Ace lets Felix become less high-strung, and Felix grounds Ace to their current predicament, allowing Ace to learn to accept responsibility for previous actions and desire to look at himself as a human being worthy of some self care.
Bill: His obsession with combatting an enemy has lead Bill to lead a “Type A” personality. Felix, on the other hand, who is more shy and evasive towards the killer, tracked some negative comments from the former soldier, who saw his inexperience as a liability, quoting Felix as a “yuppie who never struggled with true adversity.” But, Felix is a quick learner, and that initial frustration was eventually replaced with a mutual respect. They share a serious passion to protect the ones they care about, despite that desire being buried by their social exteriors. Felix knows the old man approves of him as well - he just needed to earn it first.
Feng: Similar to Nea, Felix's initial impression of Feng was negative. She presents herself as an entertainer to a nonexistent audience, who were, which Felix learned, her fans from her gaming/streaming profession. He's the type of person who is determined to learn the "positive" side of his new companion(s), and uncovers the fact that Feng suffered from a serious bout of perfectionism in her work and felt like an outcast towards her parents. She never felt like she had a family until she got into gaming, and was very hard on herself. Becoming an esports champion; her hardness upon herself was rewarded via her gaming endeavors. Learning from his past mistake with Nea, he didn't appear like some 'savior' to her former lifestyle, but gave her respect towards her passion - which many few refused to do; assuming video games were detrimental and violent. Feng was thankful towards his gesture, and even began to share some gaming slang with him, which was 1. extremely funny since Felix constantly used the memes wrong, and 2. A respected gesture, where Feng felt able to have more fun with herself and her teammates a lot more. They're too embarrassed to be seen (socially) as friends, but Felix still tries to be a supportive influence towards her in trials, and does what she calls a "teabag" once in a blue moon which causes her to erupt with laughter.
