@exclusionists making fake ace blogs
Who's the real plant now?
I figured out why babyaphobe keeps on posting in the posi/tivity tags... young children always have a hard time coloring within the lines
Anyway if someone id's as one orientation but you think they're really not, here's a fun thing to do!
Shut the fuck up.
You are not them. You will never, ever know exactly what they are feeling.
This goes 3x if you don't even have that orientation.
Why are you being an asshole to people with ace stuff at pride?? Like even if you don't think they're not lgbt+ because of their ace identity, lots of people celebrate the intersections of their identities (like with the rainbow flag with black and brown stripes).
People can be proud of multiple parts of their identity. It takes $0 to mind your own business and not ruin someone else's day.
Stop posting discourse in the posi/tivity tags.
It's unnecessary and doesn't contribute to the discourse. In addition, it doesn't just target cishet aces, it targets ANY ace in the tag.
"But just block them!!"
We shouldn't have to block every single person who posts shit in the posi/tivity tags. You should just have some common decency.
"But inclusionists post discourse in the posi/tivity tags too!"
I know. In my opinion, the posi/tivity tags ideally would remain 100% free from discourse, so all aces (exclusionists, inclusionists, and aces who just don't want to see discourse) would feel comfortable there.
However, to say that inclusionists and exclusionists posting in the posi/tivity tags are the same would be wildly incorrect. The intent of exclusionists posting in the posi/tivity tags is to purposefully make people feel bad, while inclusionists posting are trying to make people feel good. Although they are both discourse in the tags, they have very different end goals.
"But inclusionists post posi/tivity (or random pictures) in the discourse tags!"
Again, the desire is to make people feel better, not worse.
In summary: don't be an asshole. Don't go out of your way to make people feel bad.
Happy pride, friends!!
