i think you are kneejerk reacting emotionally to this. do you think anyone is reacting with pride for molly being killed? no! they are all sad as hell! matt was crying! of course molly’s death is going to have meaning to it.
Hoo boy you couldn’t have missed the point more, like I don’t even know where to start with this response. I’ll be brief in case this was genuine confusion in good faith instead of just being argumentative for the sake of it.
They weren’t reacting with pride to him being killed, but with what leaving his death as hopeless will add to the story. Some people feel that those kinds of deaths add to the story (which is why ASOIAF is an immensely popular story as both a book and tv series), and as I’ve described in the past, those elements are what makes a story not for me. This is a personal thing and not something I’m saying everyone has to feel--and I’m not even making a conclusive statement on the show. I’m saying that IF this is the kind of story it will be, then I can’t see myself remaining invested, because of how little I’ve enjoyed similar styles in the past. Trying to twist my words into an accusation like this is stirring up drama that doesn’t exist, and I’m not going to rise to the bait.
P.S. you might want to proofread your responses with a “how condescending and judgmental does this sound” before hitting that reply button
im still so confused as to how all these reviewers loved the movie? and are saying it's the best one since the emperor strikes back? all i know is disney sure has a lot of money....
I’m not usually one to get into conspiracy theories, but I’M SURE that a lot of critics (the official ones in charge of the rotten tomato score for ex, not the casual reviewers) got paid to give a positive review.
Because like i said, it happens that critics loathe a movie that the audience loves, it happens quite a lot with blockbusters actually (the most recent example is Justice League). But the opposite is quite rare, and when it does happen it’s not to that extent. How come the critics’ grade is 93% on rotten tomatoes but the audience’s grade is 56% and it keeps going down? How come on that other website TLJ’s metascore is 86 but the user score (aka the audience) is 5.2?
I’m not saying that none of the critics liked it, but such a big difference is really weird.
i think hen it comes to Rick Riordan the gay and trans progression was planned from early on. He just had to make sure the publishers didn't yank his books or anything by starting with only straights. She he started with all straight white kids. Then in the next series there were more PoC. And so on and so on.
It’s really been a joy to watch.
It’s important to note too, that even though the first few books are all white straight kids, they are white straight kids who are all dyslexic and have adhd, with those traits being portrayed positively and as a source of strength for the characters. So even the starting point was pretty good, and it’s only gotten better.
I don’t know if Rick planned to get all the way to where we are with the Magnus chase books- with Muslim Valkyrie girls and gender fluid warriors and mute elf magicians. But it’s certainly wonderful that we got here somehow.
My guess is u pissed off an Anders stan
Nah pretty sure it’s not that. I don’t think that person is a dragon age person lmao

Even the beginning of endgame was about steve moving on lol the even fucked up the arc in their own movie
apparently this is allegedly how steve’s character arc was supposed to go all along and makes perfect sense and it is actually we who have become boo boo the fool and don’t understand movies and character arcs

it was so dumb, time travel is dumb, why would they send steve back anyway? shouldn’t they send a time expert?
time travel really is banned from media after this, it’s so ridiculous. first kingdom hearts, now this, ugh.
I haven’t seen it yet tho I’m gonna probably find a bootleg and watch it that way, but I have read the synopsis of the whole thing so I know what goes down with all the time travel and whew!!! it was all a mess! sending steve back just doesn’t add up!!!
you are an expert on kairi from kingdom hearts (for the ask game)
🤩🤩🤩🤩 YES!!!! THANK YOU!!!
