11. favorite native writer/poet?
probs Jaime Alfonso Sandoval who writes horror and fantasy YA and I adore him. Mundo Umbrío is his most famous series.
“Tampoco es que fuera gran cosa que su madre, Marcia (totalmente humana), se hubiera casado con un vampiro; en cualquier vecindario de cualquier ciudad hay matrimonios todavía más raros.”
“Not that it was a big deal that his mother, Marcia (fully human), had married a vampire; in any neighborhood in any city there are even stranger marriages.”
13. does your country (or family) have any specific superstitions or traditions that might seem strange to outsiders?
where do I begin, now that we’re entering holiday season I remember that we dress up our baby Jesús after he is born every year and show him off later in february (some people use classic catholic dresses and some dress theirs up as fútbol player).
ohhh also do y’all not aggressively burry people’s faces in their birthday cake?
29. does your region/city have a beed with another place in your country?
LMAO yes, I mean, most states have a beef with us in la Ciudad de México (the capital), and I can’t blame them lol, but we have a beef with Monterrey in the north, I guess because of conservatism/whitexicans prominence?
