faq: acemart returns
Why Did AceMart Close?
AceMart closed probably two years ago (the Web division). Then, it was operating out of Etsy’s marketplace, where it did very well for a short period of time, despite Etsy’s ridiculous markup and terrible shipping weirdness. It eventually closed in January of 2014, after I tried to kill myself and was subsequently hospitalized.
AceMart briefly reopened via Store Envy, a better platform for me as a whole. This was around the time Store Envy started using Stripe as its only form of payment. I had no idea what this was, and eventually gave up using it because I was too busy. Everyone that inexplicably found our Store Envy and bought ace rings should have had their payments deferred and refunded to them. To them: I am very sorry, because I never talked to anyone about this ever.
But AceMart Is Back! How Will You Keep Up?
I have an employee now! Please welcome Izzie, who is featured in the Asexual Fact of the Day podcast. Izzie is handling inventory and its assorted struggles, and I am doing all of the customer service/marketing/etc. We are helped out by Melanie Goulish, of Melanie Goulish Photography: you can find her photos here. http://mhg.format.com/
I also have several more years of being in the business of retail and of customer service experience.
If you have any further questions, please direct them either to the AceMart inbox here, the official storeenvy page (acemart.storenvy.com).
