The coordinates you gave Sleuth were for a small, upscale restaurant. The Grand Lux Cafe. Open late, great food, and fancy booze. It’s the sort of place corrupt politicians take their wives (not their mistresses). You don’t own the place but they’re deep in your territory and their support for the Crew is no secret.

As safe of a place as any to have a talk with your kismesis. You’re early, making sure to scope out the entire joint and pay the servers a pretty dollar for going blind, deaf, and mute so far as you’re concerned. Spades Slick was never here. That’s the story.

You’re on your first glass of whiskey when midnight hits. Sipping it in your quiet, reserved corner and eyeing anyone who so much as breathes in your direction.
