My FIRST follower forever and probably my last for a long while haha.

Honestly I haven’t really been active in the Voltage fandom for a long while, just following casually, but it’s something that really made my life better during a hard time so I can’t really let go of it.

For me the people in this fandom have been so wonderful and impacted me as much as the games itself did, so even though I admit I don’t follow many Voltage blogs anymore, the ones I do follow mean the world to me.

Whether it be through your friendship, your art, your writing or just your presence, you really do make my life so much better.

Yeah there’s even more happiness under the cut.

@autumn-otome - I remember you writing me these adorable stories for Valentines day when you were my Cupid, and then we just sort of started talking after that. Even though we don’t talk much anymore that bagel changed my life haha, I also remember promising to send you a photo of my hair when I go blonde, so expect a message some day with just a photo of myself attached. You were one of my first friends in the fandom and it really made me feel like I could try to connect with other people if they were all going to be as friendly as you!

Adventure in Arcadia

As she stepped out of the elevator Carrie Duff took in the clean office that she would now call her own. There were six desks spread around the room and lounging around the office were three other people, and through the door near the back was what looked like another smaller but more sophisticated office.

Today was the first day on the job. Carrie had won a scholarship to enrol at a Melbourne university that included a job as a journalist at Pulse Industries. She had travelled from Scotland to Australia to write for Arcadia Magazine. Along with her, there were three other scholarship winners from other countries and then two from Melbourne.

With another tentative step further into the room, she took in her new colleagues. The first was a fashionable guy with neatly styled hair and pale skin. He looked to be European, his most noticeable feature were his bright blue eyes. Sitting across from him on one of the desks was another young man. With his lightly tanned skin and straight brown hair poking out from his beanie, Carrie’s eyes took in the hipster vibe that he gave off. Lastly there was the boy with the strong jawline. His blonde hair fell naturally on his head and looked like he had just taken a walk on a windy day. Casually dressed but not unclean, he didn’t look like he spent as much time in the bathroom this morning than the other two.

“Hey,” called Mr. Jawline, “I’m Spencer, how ya doin?” 

He held out his hand and shook hers. 

“This is Liam,” he gestured to beanie boy who looked up from his magazine and smiled at her. 

“And Keiran.” this time he gestured to the Ken Doll across the room. He winked at her and walked over.

“What's your name?” he asked in a French accent.

“Carrie Duff.” she stuttered quietly. 

“Excuse me?” he asked, confused.

“Oh, you’re the Scottish winner! Carrie you say? Yeah I read your entry piece, you write really well by the way.”  Spencer said excitedly, reaching out to take her hand and pull her further into the office. 

As the conversation continued, the elevator came up again and two more young adults stepped into the office laughing. Carrie was relieved to see one of them was a girl, as much as she enjoyed being friends with guys, the thought of being the only girl in a team of six seemed a little strange. The girl was Asian with blonde hair and a petite frame, her face seemed quite familiar but Carrie couldn’t put her finger on when they’d met before. The other one was a boy, he had dark hair and his eyes were brightly looking around the room. 

“So is this everyone then?”

A/N: My friend and I are going to starting to write an original story that we’re planning to post on Tumblr and I would love it if you guys help support that when it comes out.

In the future we’re actually going to film the chapters that we write and make it into a YouTube series that I’ve begun writing the scripts for but we’re not sure if anyone would be interested in watching it.

The plot is about a magazine Arcadia that is written by six university students from around the world that all moved to Australia on scholarship. It focuses on the students and the friendships that they form (and maybe more) as well as the articles that they write. I can also promise that it becomes more interesting after that line I left the story on.

I would love you guys to share this around and get excited for what’s to come, this is the first time we’re writing an original story with OC’s and everything. I would also love feedback on what you think so far and if you’re interested in the story.

I’m super excited to start posting it and even more excited to start filming it, so I would really appreciate it if you spread the word and reblogged this post for all to see!
