So. It’s been a while since I made anything AC related out of commissions… the stuff happened at Ubi kinda ruined it for me. And the fact that they haven’t still addressed that makes it even worse.

So since I learned from the best (derogatory) I will be doing more or less the same… do you want to use just male characters? I’ll draw the male characters then.

Do you ignore employee rights? I’m going to use your boys to make smexy stuff, they can’t say no since they are made up characters.

And then I’ll tag that #asscreed and put it on Twitter (since the other social platforms are all SFW). I’ll make it a series. Also if someone else wants to draw AC characters and tag them ASSCREED it would be noice 🍑 💦

This is just a small thing I thought during this time of hiatus. Given my personal experience I couldn’t let it go.

I come from 3 years of work in an office where my colleagues and I got verbally abused and lived in fear every day. Our job wasn’t valued, my colleagues left and I had to learn to do a lot of their tasks. The management didn’t want to hire new people since I more or less was able to do their tasks.

In the end I was struggling with my mental and physical  health and when my contract was about to end I thought about the possibility of remaining there. 

I asked for a raise. Which I did not get: everyday at work I would constantly be reminded that “everyone is useful, but no one is necessary”, and the day I asked for a raise I was repeated the same phrase. So I told them I would leave the place at the end of the contract. In 2 weeks. They didn’t hire someone on time: I passed my task list to the part time lady in charge of cleaning the office. I’m kinda sorry for her.

But! I didn’t struggle with the job, the job was a-ok, I had problems with the management, because the boss would scream and throw stuff around the office (they never actively fought, they were just indirectly violent). During this whole time I went to my doctor asking if I could get a bit of help about the stress situation (maybe some paid vacation??): he told me that the only thing I could get was anti-depressants. 

Let that sink in. I was told to take anti depressants because of my boss being a bully. This was also one of the reasons I decided to quit. I didn’t take anti depressants. But I am still looking for a job, so... but my health comes first.

Final thought: because of how BAD this person was I quit and actively pursued an art career. Which is kind of my dream. So sometimes good can come out from a bad situation, it depends on how you look at it. Also, let’s not give up!
