who are your favorite gravity falls artists?

(disclaimer: this kinda just turned into me gushing about people i admire heck sorry)

eheheheh… oh man, there are a lot of really great artists kicking around in these particular parts, hrrrk. but here is an absolutely not-exhaustive list of some people who are super rad and worth following if you’re not already for some reason:

@mistrel-fox: a very soft and beautiful style that is just super easy on the eyes. a joy to look at, the kind of art that just makes you happy

@kiki-kit: Talk About Liveliness. this adaptation of the canon style improves it in all the best ways, and the fluidity of the lineart is SO COOL

@soupery: soft....... lots of chubby cheeks and bright smiles and amazing colours. actually major emphasis on the colours; loads of Mega Awesome combinations

@danidery: another powerhouse in the field of lively and energetic lines. has so many hilarious and well executed comics, it’s just incredible

@thedobermutt: Amazingly Skilled Recreations of the canon style, to the point that you can’t always tell them apart. also crazy precise with detailwork? wow, wowo

@eregyrn-falls: also a magician of the detail work. how do you do that, from where do you draw that patience. also is great with rich and deep colours which is Excellent

@garrulousgibberish: A WIZARD WITH BACKGROUNDS AND LIGHTING. WHAT IS YOUR MAGIC, HOLY FUCIKCING---

@infriga: a very clean and simple style, crisp and nice. lots of good concepts. Quality

@grunklesphinx: soft......... cute........... pleasant........ a great blog if you love yourself some baby stans, and who doesn’t love baby stans

@doubtingsalmon: some absolutely amazing paper art. it’s gorgeous and astoundingly creative/original. just so so so good

hey guys! thank you all so much for your support in helping me get commissions, i've successfully transitioned over to my new school and its going really well. the first payment for tuition is coming up, and the numbers are still pretty daunting, but now that i've gotten to experience this school i'm more determined than ever to stay. because most of my energy goes into keeping up with schoolwork while maintaining an ok level of mental health, i haven't yet pursued finding a job. this has led me to explore more options i can take along my artistic path (which doesn't create extra stress or mental discomfort for me), in short, making a patreon.

(also, if you can't pledge, you can just follow me on patreon to keep up with my art- i'll be posting lots of work publicly so i would reccomend this if you're interested in my art!!) i fully realize there are so many other more worthy causes out there, but this is a very pressing problem for me personally, and my tumblr has been a source of support for me in the past.
