inktober day 8: Mamluk riding an Achilobator
started with inks but I had to come down to editing in the tail and a few things mbad!
Bedtime sketches of dromaeosaurs, probably one of the larger ones like Deinonychus or Achilobator, not as large as Utahraptor though.
Is it clear I haven't drawn dromaeosaurs in a while? Hence the skull warmups. I chose black because I liked how Microraptor looked in its dapper black plumage, though I'll maybe clean these up and put a little more variation on the plumage colours and save the black for display feathers.
Hurrah for fluffy dromaeosaurs!
