I don't really like how Mozenrath turned out here, but I really like how my version of his mamluks looks! In fact, this art was drawn specifically because of these guys. I don't like that these zombies in the series are the same in appearance, so that's why I made my version. Honestly, I even felt sad while I was drawing them because I was thinking about how these guys hardly deserved to be turned into monsters. They were probably just guards/soldiers who were just doing their jobs until Mozenrath wanted to turn them into mamluks. They must be deeply unhappy and suffering every day😔

Mamluk Enamelled Glass Flask (13th/14th Century) Syrian artisans under the Mamluk Sultanate perfected glass enameling. This rare, intact flask features a free-blown globular body, a tall bulbous neck, and two applied handles made of trailed glass.

Over time, the vessel has developed hairline surface cracks, minor enamel loss, and a gentle iridescence. The remaining decoration showcases a vibrant palette of red, yellow, green, white, and blue enamels. Each distinct motif is outlined in fine red lines that trace the craftsman's original layout drawings.
