The librarian really doesn’t have time for nonsense when it comes to the facts. He’s not all knowing, not like his brother Seunghwan. However, he does know history from what he’s poured his heart over. “That would be the wrong time period. I can give you a book for the right period?”
eyes roll as lips purse together, disbelief written across countenance. a few short seconds later a scoff is huffed out and he’s shaking his head in disapproval. ❛ because that’s a solid plan. totally. ❜ takuya replies in a sickening sweet tone that is heavy with obvious sarcasm.

Her eyes looked lost as she stared absent minded at the figure a few a block or two in front of her, chewing on her earphones. She had perfect eye sight as the red hair captured her attention. She didn’t realize how hard she was staring as she took a deep breath with a an pen side smile. She licked her dry lips as she snapped out of it. It felt like it was nine in the afternoon crossing her arms. She walked passed a few people before she was able to reach him. She started at him interested to know who he was. “Hi.” Was all she said as she stepped in front of him walking backwards.
— She could literally smell him from a mile away. A mixed breed? Carmilla stood before him, squinting her eyes at the male. Also, a hint of gunpowder? Never has she sensed his presence before, or maybe she had shrugged him off. “ You’re mixed, aren’t you? “ She questioned. The vampire wasn’t there to harass him, but more so to just identify him. “ Hm.. You smell similar to me, but you also reek of human... “ The woman went on, now circling around him as her thoughts went thru the numerous possibilities of what exactly his specific species was.
It was like one of those moments where everything was stopped, and the only way to make the time go again was to look away.
Sooyoung had been lured to the wonderful display of a sweets shop by the streets, only to realize a familiar face at the opposite side of the window. She stood for a good five minutes before the face finally met hers. His name rang so loud, it drowned out the foot steps of near by city travelers- but not the racing heartbeat in her chest.
They say love is blind. That must’ve been the case when the two met as they didn’t care what laws they’ve broken. To her, Taejoon was an escape. A fellow runaway, though, she considered him a mentor once she started settling on being a thief. Breaking in various stores, mischievously stealing from foreigners, and anywhere they can land their eyes on. In between, she fell in love and thought there was finally someone who can love her. Star-Crossed Lovers, Bonnie and Clyde, The Ace Team. This proved false as she figured out that she’s just ‘another girl’. False dreams of settling in, False hopes of love. Maybe it was better that way. Maybe there was a reason he left for good. So why now? Was destiny playing around? She finally healed- why should the image of him suddenly pop up?
So this is you now, you look great. . . she wanted to say. Is this why you ran away. . . ? she wanted to ask. She smiled softly, her soft gaze as familiar as the days they have spent together as lovers.
Her feet told her to walk. And she did. She didn’t want to. But it must be done.
─ [ ♡ ] It was midmorning and Jaehyun has not come home after leaving for work yesterday morning. Her mind was all over the place, worrying whether if he's okay, if he's hurt, did he got into another fight? Was he injured? Or much worst — dead. No. Jinri mumbled softly to herself, pacing back and forth inside their living room. He promised that he would always come back to her. He'd spend his life with her, yet here he was not even leaving a single message, call, or anything to let her know that he was safe. She hated that side of him; always leaving her in constant worry.
He's okay. He's fine. He's going to come home. She replayed those sentences over and over again for the past hours, but the clock was ticking and there wasn't any sight of his warm presence. Sweaty palms and aching heart, her eyes began to water – throat aching from the built up worries she've been holding through out the whole day. Was his work that important to the point that he's been gone for a day? Taking the matters into her own hands, she decided that it was time to search for him. Without changing her clothes, she rushed towards the front door after grabbing his set of keys that he left yesterday. She felt something was going to happen, he opted to using his car and decided to go to his work by feet. How she wished she could have stopped him, kept him from leaving work like she would do as of recently. ❝God dammit, Yoo Jaehyun.❞ She snapped out of frustration. ❝Damn it.❞ The weight on her chest grew heavy the minute she left their house and climbed inside his car. His scent. She can smell it as soon as she was settled in his seat. God, she hoped that he was okay.
After fastening her seatbelt and starting the car, she takes a deep breath, making sure she had composed and calmed herself before driving off to find him. Stepping on the accelerator as she drives off from their quiet neighborhood, she wheels the car to exit the highway. Her foot stepping further in the gas pedal to gain speed, she felt the rush inside the car. She knew that she was speeding, but she didn't care for now. With both hands holding the steering wheel tightly, her mind was occupied with many of the places he could be. A club is one place, which he typically does his business, or even his father's place. The yacht his father owns could be one, but whatever could he do there. Her mind was literally blank, she couldn't think and all she cared about was wanting to see him, to hold him tight in her arms.
Changing lanes after another, she was driving recklessly, her speed was beyond the limits; drivers behind her began to curse and honked at her each time the car swings. Fuck them. She thought. Reaching for her phone, she called his number for the nth time, yet not one answer from him and she was directly sent to his voicemail. ❝Jaehyun! Answer your damn phone.❞ With one hand on the wheel while the other was on her phone, Jinri was soon to hit a car if she continues to drive heedlessly, but this didn't stop her. Exiting the highway to prevent any accidents that could happen, she drives in the open space of the city road. Her speed was constant, driving 70 miles per hour; the frustration of not having him clouds her mind that tears began to stream endlessly from her eyes down to her cheeks. She kept ringing his phone, and still no answer. By this time, Jinri was in pain. Her heart breaking of not knowing if her love was alive.
Taking her eyes off the road for a mere second to wipe her tears, she almost missed the person that was walking in the open street — she was driving too fast, and it was too late for her to hit the breaks. With the only car being on the road, Jinri made a quick decision to make a sharp turn, turning the car directly towards the street light. As her life flashed before her eyes, the happy moments she spent with her family, friends, fans — and lastly Jaehyun's smile that she loves, a loud crash can then be heard, and shattered glasses were all over the place and on her skin followed by her vision turning to pitch black.
The sound of the crowd's voice woke her up she watch them through her blooded eyes, hearing them calling for help. Holding to the last grip of consciousness as blood streaks trails from the side of her head down to her face after her head hit the wheel, she painfully reach for her phone. Shards of window glass were stuck on her arms, making it hard for her to use them. Just as her eyes was about to fall shut, her phone rang. And the name of the person she've been longing to see was on the screen. Answering it to the best of her abilities, she press the speaker on. He was apologizing, saying sorry for the time that he was away. She was smiling. She felt a sense of relief, washing the worries of yesterday. ❝I'm glad you're safe❞. She says to him in her most weakest voice. Her eyes were growing heavy each time she move or talk. Not caring about the gravity of her situation, she holds onto the light once more.. ❝Hey .. Jae. I'm sorry.❞ Her voice was frail, the liveliness in her was dissipating into nothingness. And that was it, her eyes falling close, losing consciousness, fainting to rest along with the echoes of the last thing she heard; the sirens of an ambulance and its paramedics coming to her aid.
