Saw Possession (1981) in the cinema on the big screen last night
Holy shit the film is truly a unique and amazing experience. I can't wait for the new restored media book release so I can watch it like 12 or 30 more times
metformin my enemy... why tummy upset
This year, I am trying to do some New Year's Resolutions with Habitica, which I've found helpful before - but I guess sticking to it is a habit as well!
As it stands, my resolutions are as follows:
- start casual birding
- learn how to handle new chronic illness
- get a driver's license or at least started on one
Let's see how that goes!
Goodbye David Lynch... his work is what made me fall in love with cinema, and created an itch that barely anything scratches quite like he did.
I think I'll talk about it a bit more on the weekend, use this blog as a personal blog more.
For now, I'll say that Twin Peaks still remains a monument, and that Mullholland Drive or Eraserhead or Blue Velvet are pillars of a legacy.
What's your /least/ favourite stone in your collection and why?
Sorry for the late answer - I had a rather unexpected hospital stay right before the holidays! I am feeling reasonably better now, though.
Hm... I had to think on that question for a bit. I have one or two agates I really love because they were gifts from close family, but all the other agates I have I'm not actually all that fond of. Neither the crazy colour range - that is often enhanced or otherwise not the natural colour - nor the banded patterns really do it for me. I have much more visually striking pieces in my collection.
So while I don't hate agate, I don't really love it either, except for the ones I got from close family members.
